I picked Kagami up in my arms holding Cujo by the chain, walking back to the bakery with a very disturbed Adrien trailing behind at a slower then usual pace. I entered through the side door placing Kagami on the floor by the stairs. I signaled for Adrien to sit next to her. I crouched down so that I was level with Cujo. I gently reach round his neck, tracing his spikey collar with my fingers before finding the clasp that connected him to the chain. I separated the link and move the chain away from him. I stood up, folding the chain up. I put the chain on the table and turned to face Adrien.
"So" I started, pulling my bottom lip in-between my teeth. He looked at me, his eyes wide.
"I want answers" He stated, trying to sound intimidating, but coming of weaker then usual.
"Ask away then" I say falling to the floor to sit in front of him.
"Why do you have the dog?" He questioned, looking a Cujo as Cujo sat next to me.
"He was a present from my dad when I was born." I tell him, running my fingers through his fur.
"Why would Tom ever get you a dog that can hurt you?" He questioned as he stared into Cujos' eyes.
"Tom, isn't my dad. He's my fathers most entrusted employee. And my father got me Cujo for protection" I tell him as Cujo placed his head in my lap. Adrien moved down the steps, onto the floor so that we sat face to face.
"Why would your father get you a Pitbull for protection?" Adrien asked.
"My fathers....Job was dangerous and we were constantly threatened by his....Competitors" I tell him, trying to not give to much away.
