A few months had passed since the passing of Noah Helquist, and things were returning as normal as can be, obviously without a father figure.

Young Foz, who was about 5-6 at the time, was absolutely traumatised, and he in his young state of mind now thought the colour black meant danger. He knew not the race, but the colour itself.

One day, he went into his mothers room, and-

"Mommy, why are you flying?"

No response. In his state of mind, he goes and gets Austin. Luckily, him, Andrew and Stephanie are in the living room.

"Austin?" Foz began.

"Yes Foz?" Austin replied.

"Why is Mommy flying?"

".. Steph. Get Foz. Get him away from here. Andrew. With me. NOW!" Austin ordered. Stephanie quickly scooped up Foz in her arms, and took him out of the house.

"Steph, is there something I shouldn't know? Is what I said bad?" Foz asked anxiously.

"No, no Foz, that was very helpful of you. It's just Andrew and Austin need to do something is all." Stephanie reassured her younger brother.

"O-oh, ok." Foz calmed down, but was still worried for his mother.

Moments later, an Ambulance had arrived. The people inside the ambulance got out and rushed in the house. Then they carried Jessica Helquist into the back while she was on a stretcher. Austin and Andrew came out, but Austin had a note in his hand.

"Hm?" Stephanie began. She walked over to her brothers and asked, "What's that say?"

Austin showed her the note

Dear Austin, Andrew, Stephanie and Foz..

I'm so sorry for leaving you. But ever since your father died, I wasn't able to cope. Of course, I faked it for the sake of you four. Just remember that I love you all, and I'll be watching from heaven. I'm sorry it had to be this way.

-Jessica Helquist

The four couldn't believe their eyes. Their mother had committed suicide, right there and right then. After some time of silence, Austin decided to speak up.

"So... what are we going to do now?"

"... I don't know."

What the shit. Anyway, that's this chapter done. Hope you enjoyed! I'll try and update as much as possible, stay safe!
