Phil's P.O.V

I smiled at Katie, as she walked into the office, at reception. I headed to the bar, finding everyone sat at a table talking.
"There you are!" Sav noticed me, sat on a purple fabricated bench, with Rick on his right. "We went to your room and got no answer..."
I sat on a stool, about to reply.
"You were with her, weren't you?" Joe asked, sat on a chair, on my left.
"Maybe I was. We woke up late and she invited me in for breakfast." I smiled.
"Breakfast...?" Sav grinned at me.
"Breakfast." I glared at him.

"Well..." Joe smiled at Sav. "We're here indefinitely, so call whoever and let them know." He turned to me.
"We're not gonna be home for Christmas, are we?" I asked him.
"Not likely, right now." Was all he replied with, playing with his wedding ring.

"Fuck off!" Lister laughed, walking into the bar, walking through a door labeled 'Kitchen - Staff Only'.
"I'm telling you! My dad actually did that!" Katie laughed, following him.

"What's she like then?" Sav asked me.
"Different... Something new." I smiled, turning to him, from the door.
"Found him, then!" Frank walked over, from the corridor.
"Yeah." Sav pet my shoulder. "Thanks for letting us stay here, Frank. We're sorry about all this."
"Don't worry about it. I figure you're gonna want to do more, than sit around in here all day, so here's what we offer." Frank placed some leaflets down on our table, before following Katie into the kitchen.

"Gym, indoor swimming pool, large patio, with seating area and fire, a maze, mini golf course, spa, and frozen lake." Vivian read out the list, as we all browsed through.
"This might not be so bad..." Sav frowned a little.
Everyone had someone waiting for them at home.
Sav had his fiance, Alicia.
Joe had his wife, Erin.
Vivian had his wife, Jac.
Rick had his pregnant fiancè, Charlotte.

Katie walked out the kitchen and stood behind the bar. She looked bored, just dotting around.
I smiled at her and she smiled back.
Lister walked out from the kitchen and, without looking at Katie, walked behind the bar and started writing on the chalk board.
"What's the difference between a beer and a larger?" He asked Katie, not giving her any attention.
"No idea." Katie shrugged.
"Then step away from bar!" He pointed to the other side of the bar.
Katie snickered and walked off.

"What should we do then?" Joe asked.
"I'm gonna ring Alicia." Sav got up and left us.
"Seems calmer outside. I might take a stroll." Vivian got up, heading to his room to grab his coat.
"I'm gonna join you." Joe got up with him.
"Rick?" I looked at our drummer.
"Phil?" He looked at me. "Go find her... She seems to have you hooked. Who knows what come come from it?"

I thought about it.
Hillary wasn't coming back and I really like this woman...
I smiled at Rick and got up, going after Katie.

She was stood in the doorway of the office, looking inside.
I walked to the reception desk and rung the bell.
"Oh, hey! Your friend, with the fluffy hair, looked really upset. He took the elevator." Katie walked up to him.
"He'll be fine. We've just found out we might be here for Christmas. He's missing his fiancè." I explained.
"Ah, right. That sucks... Not the you staying for Christmas! Though it kinda does suck, as you can't go home, but it's nice that you're here!" Katie panicked, making me laugh.
"It's fine! Are you busy right now?" I asked her.
"Uh..." She looked into the office, smiled at someone, and shook her head at me. "I'm free."
"Then, can I get to know you better?" I asked her.
"Sure." She stepped out from the reception and led me to the staircase, this time turning right, through some double doors.

There was a hallway with doors on our right, and windows on our left. The first door read 'Spa', and the next said 'Gym'. The door, at the end of the hallway, said 'Swimming Pool', but Katie led us through the door before that, that said 'Staff Only'.

"No one will give a shit that you're in here. You're with me." Katie led me passed some shelves full of towels, bathrobes, flip flops, gym weights, and boxes.
We came to a small table, with chairs around it, with a TV on a stand, up on the wall.
"We come here to breath, when it's busy." Katie informed me, taking a seat at the table.
"Oh, right. Nice!" I sat with her. It was like a green room, but full of supplies for the pool, gym and spa.

"So, uh... What are we? What is this...?" Katie asked.
"What do you want it to be?" I asked her.
"I don't know, 'cause as soon as you can go, I'll be forgotten. Like I never existed." Katie frowned.
"No, I won't let that happen!" I took her hand in mine. "I like you a lot, and the time we've spent together has been great. I'm not gonna forget about you." I promised her.
"Don't promise anything. You're in a band..." Katie took her hand back.
"Katie, I really feel something for you and I don't want to let that go. I don't know how long I'm going to be here for, but I want to be with you." I told her.
"How do you mean... 'be with me'?" She asked, unsure.
"Like this." I grabbed her face and kissed her, having her kiss me back.

. . .

We ended up in Katie's suite and not in her bed.
She was in the shower and I was sat on the bathroom counter, with my feet in her sink, sitting back.

We've talked about everything and anything, laughing and joking together. This is what I wanted. What I was missing... A relationship.
We weren't official, but I was planning on changing that, very soon.
