Wrapped Around Your Finger

"Alright. I'll be there in 30 mins. Bye. See you later."

And with that I went out of my house while making sure I locked my doors properly. I headed to my motorcycle and started to drive to Yuri's house.

As it is getting late at night, the busy city in the morning has now became really quiet. You can not hear anything but the sound of the wind rustling through the trees and the sound of my motorcycle roaring with a few cars.

Anyways, I am picking up Yuri because in a few hours, it would be our 10th year of being together and we decided to celebrate as soon as 12 mn strikes. I still cant believe that its been 10 years. We were together through ups and downs. We laughed and cried together. We are basically each other's support and I love her so much.

After a few minutes of driving, I finally arrived at her house and called her phone to say that I'm here but it only kept ringing. I tried calling her again but the she still didnt pick up. Feeling frustrated, I threw a small rock at the her bedroom window. A red head popped up behind the window with an annoyed face.

"Can't you wait??!?!"

"Uhhmmm probably" I answered jokingly.

"Uhhmmm probably" she said in a mocking tone to tease me "Just wait, im almost done"

Soon enough, she did come out of their house's backyard. I started my motorcycle and she hopped on. We started hitting the road but before going to wherever we're going, we stopped by a convenience store to buy some snacks. We also bought some ice cream to eat along the way.

"That ice cream again seriously??"

"You know i love this ice cream so much, unnie"

"You should try another flavor"

"No thanks hahaha"

This kid istg hahaha. After that, we paid for everything and before hitting the road again, I already finished my ice cream because you know for safety purposes.

After a few minutes, we finally arrived at our favorite place. It is at a beach with a huge amusement park beside it. I parked my motorcycle and we bought tickets for the amusement park. We first went to ride the Vikings.

"Unnie, that ride is too scary. Can we please not ride?"

"Oh please come on Yuri, I'll buy you some churros if you ride that with me." I said that while putting on my signature pouty lips because she's weak for it hehe.

"Oh so you're using that pouty lips on me. Well, its working so I'll ride it with you but just make sure to buy me that churros."

"Yehey!! And yes I'll make sure to buy those churros for you."

We went ahead and line up for the ride. I can see that Yuri is sulking because she will ride it. What a cutie. How can a person be this cute. I secretly took pictures of her because I can use that to tease her hehe.

We finally hopped on the ride and I saw that Yuri is clinging on to me.

"Hey you're fine. I"m here"

"Sorry if I'm gonna end up hurting your arm, unnie"

"That's okay"

The ride started and we both screamed hard. When we left the ride, the world was spinning, I swear. Once we got ourselves together, I bought her the churros that I promised. She looked so cute while eating it. She looked like a kid that got the candy that she wanted. I took a picture of her and she noticed.

"Yah! Unnie, delete the picture."

"Why??? You look cute here" I said as I show her the pic.

"You know what I'm not gonna deny that." She said as we laugh together.

This kid is so adorable istg. Like how?!?!?!? Everything that she does is so adorable. She's so fluffy and soft like please especially those cheeks of her, squishable. Ok I'll stop, I probably sound whipped as heck now.

We ate the rest of it happily, rode a few more rides and took some pictures for memories too.

When we're finally done playing, we set up all of our stuff on the beach from the mat to the food that we bought earlier.We were chatting happily. We were laughing, teasing and annoying each other. The usual things that we do, basically.

We got tired after sometime and so we lied down on the mat and started stargazing. I looked beside me and saw yuri looking at the amazing stars at the sky. I must say, she looks breathtakingly beautiful today. I mean she always does but the way that the lights from the nearby amusement park outlined her amazing features and the way that those same lights looked like stars in her eyes made her even more beautiful. Damn, she really got me wrapped around her fingers. I love her so much words cant even describe it. She's my everything.

"Hey, you're staring. Are you okay?"

"Oh haha yes im good. Sorry for staring." That's so embarrasing. Have i been staring for that long?

"Anyways, its 11:59 now. One more minute and its our 10th year.

"Wait really???" I checked my phone and saw that its really 11:59 now. Its gonna be my 10th year with the love of my life.

That one minute turned into 30 seconds then 15 seconds and alas

As soon as the time struck 12, I heard Yuri say:

"HAPPY 10 YEARS OF FRIENDSHIP, BEST FRIEND! I LOVE YOU!"

Ah yes, of course, you dont love me the way I love you. Im just your bestfriend. No matter how much I try to send signals. I am just your bestfriend.

"HAPPY 10 YEARS TO YOU TOO! I LOVE YOU TOO."

I screamed at the top of my lungs because maybe it will stop hurting. It didnt help though, it still hurts but you know what, being bestfriends is enough for me because atleast i can be with you. And hey, atleast you were mine for a night.
