Todoroki POV While I finished my one on one battles with a few of the students, I had a break. I sighed and started remembering what Midoriya said, "I'm telling you, you did a good job in not becoming a villain and staying strong. You are a hero....but you cannot refuse your left side anymore." I already told him that I refuse this quirk"I won't use-" he then shouted, "Don't give me that shit, Todoroki. Everyone's giving everything they got. They're doing it so they they can get much closer to victory. Its so they can someday become number one. You think you can win using only half your power, but you are wrong. So make up your mind and get in that ring and fight like a real hero!"
Izuku POV After talking with Todoroki I was stopped by Endeavor, geez what luck I have with the Todoroki's. "Move." I glared and he wasn't moving. I could easily use my quirk to more him but that won't get me anywhere with this guy. "It's a pity that my son can not compete with you in this festival." He said. "Sure is a pity, I would have liked to defeat him with a single blow but i guess my situation wouldn't allow it." I mocked and he glared. "Shouto has a duty to surpass All Might. His match against you would have no doubt proven an excellent test bed. I guess you two could fight some other time, Villain." I couldn't help but laugh, god I dont know why but when someone calls me a villain it make me laugh. I just feel so refreshed being remembered what I am, "How funny it is that the guy who abused his family calls a student a villain, I didn't even commit a crime yet." Although we were in a distance I could feel his flames brushing my skin. I took a step forward not bothered by his flames as I have died once in the touch of flames many years ago. "I am not All Might...." "That's obvious" he scoffed. "And Todoroki isn't you." I gave him a wide grin and he flinched. I saw Korosensei eating his cake and I brushed passed Endeavor, "Hey Korosensei, you mind if I borrow a few minutes of your time?" I asked and he shook his head. He noticed Endeavor and we both left, Class 3E were watching the match and few others were in their rooms so nobody would bother us right now. "So what do you need, Midoriya. I'll gladly help." He said and I smiled, "Oh that smile tells me that you have something under your sleeve today. Fufufu." I nodded agreeing.
Todoroki POV My match with Bakugo was going to start, I was already on the ring waiting and Bakugo wasn't here yet. That's strange, he was very excited about fighting today with me. Suddenly I managed to catch a glimpse of something moving very fast like the wind close to the tunnel. I looked at it and saw two big speaker boxes on the floor connected, I followed the trail with my eyes and suddenly a sinister voice started speaking. He was hiding in the dark shadow of the tunnel and he had a microphone on his hand, I couldn't tell who he was or what he was. "Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, I'm apologize for the late minute change of plans during your excitement while seeing UA students fighting to win. I have decided that I would love to have a match with Shouto Todoroki, dont worry I don't mean any harm to any of you. I just want to spice this match a little, this match will not be Todoroki vs. Bakugo, THIS IS TODOROKI VS MYSTERY SHADOW! HOLD YOUR SEATS FOLKS BECAUSE THIS MATCH WILL SHOW YOU THE POTENTIAL OF OUR FUTURE HEROES!" The crowd was cheering and roaring although they were confused as to who this person was. The guy came out of the shadow and stepped towards the sunlight, my eyes widened when I saw a fully covered guy with a black outfit and a mask. Who is this guy? "So Todoroki do you accept the challenge!" He asked.

I looked towards Midnight to see if she would stop this guy but she nodded, signaling me to that it was okay. This guy looks like a villain but if he really was one then why did the teachers not act? Many questions started to come to my mind, I have no idea what this guys quirk is and he could easily play a dirty trick to win. But, 'You are a hero.' a real hero never let's a villain win. "I accept your challenge, Mystery Shadow!" The crowd once again roared in excitement. Mystery Boy walked to the ring and Midnight announced, "The rules are still the same, you lose once you are out of bound or no longer able to continue." "Start!" She yelled and I first used my quirk to freeze him but he somehow was able to destroy it without a sweat. What is this guy?! "Wow! Did you see, Mystery Shadow destroyed Todoroki's iceburg! Awesome!" Present Mic yelled. I could hear the unknown guy chuckle to himself and it pissed me off, I need to get rid of him. He wasn't attacking, why? I created a tower of ice towards him but he didn't attack, he flashed to the left side and stood still. What is with this guy? My right side was beginning to freeze from the three huge icebergs I created. "Hey what do you think you are doing, fight me!" I yelled but he didn't respond. I crashed ice together and launched it at him but he seemed to dodge them quickly that it annoyed me. Why can't I manage to leave a scratch on him. "You're shivering Todoroki!" He said and I flinched.
