Chapter 6

I was awakened by a buzz but I don't want to get up yet, instead I lied still on my bed when I heard a loud knock and flinched at the sound. It's sunday morning so I wasn't expecting anyone this early in the morning.

"Coming" I yelled as I start to walk which took me some time to get the door. I opened the door to see Cassendra, I slammed the door at her.
She didn't come to the hostel last night, probably she slept at one of her social friends hostel, I don't give a fuck though because I'm still mad at her.

"Theresa, chill, try to hear me out, I sincerely know nothing about this letter stuff......"

"Ohh really, then tell me how the letter got into your bag......! I asked her with a harsh voice

"That's the same question I have be asking myself, why will I want to betray my best friend. You are meant to trust me, besides what do I need the letter for"

I was about to say something when she stood leaned so much closer that we are just inches apart........

"Are you telling me you know nothing about it" I asked her

"I cross my heart, I know nothing about it. She gazed up at me.I thought for a minute

I sighed......"Okay"

"Now will you let me in" She asked

"Sure, I smiled. My mind is not clear though"

"What if it was a setup"

"Setup!!" I said with my eyes wide open

"Yes setup, someone might just do that to turn your back against me.

"Uhmm, So how do we know who did it?"

"I don't know but my mind tells me ......"

"Tells you what?" I cuts her off

"Who knows maybe it one of the girls you hate in your class that is behind all these shit and they also hate you back"

"Huhh" just then I remembered the day I read the letter aloud in class unknowningly when Claudia came up to me

" Wait, wait , Cassendra you are right. My mind tells me it's Claudia, cause the day I got the letter from Ray, I read it out in class unknowningly, then she came up to me and teased me, she showed some filthy attitudes but I gave it back to her.........."

"Are you talking about Claudia Berger, that goes around the school snatching boyfriend or end up destroying relationships?"Cassendra said

"Exactly, Is that what she wanna do,  Ohh No,  she's not gonna achieve it. If I get to find out that it is that bitch behind all this I'm gonna scratch that her ugly face" I gnashed

Just then, Cassendra received a phone call from her classmate Ava.

Ava: Hey Cassen, I need to tell you something and it is actually about what transpired between you and Theresa yesterday. (Cassendra put the phone on speaker)
Cassendra: Yeah, what about it
Ava: U-hm-mm, Ava muttered incoherently.

Ava: I was the one that put the letter in your bag

"What!!"I and Cassendra shouted

Cassendra: You mean you were the one that put the letter in my bag(she said with a harsh voice)
Ava: Yes, but I was asked to.I know it sounds stupid
When I heard that, I became angry , who asked you to do so. I said

What the fuck, you mean Claudia Berger asked you to put the letter in Cassendra's bag. I said
