"Please father, I can't marry Prince Seokjong..."
Prince Taejong says desperately. He has been saying the same thing for more than 10 minutes now, may be even before that. He has been saying the same thing ever since his parents informed him about Prince Seokjong a month ago. But the king doesn't seem to care.

"Why are you saying like that my son? Give me one reason why you don't wanna marry him."
The king is not mad, he speaks in a calm voice.

"Father...he is fifteen years older than me."
Prince Taejong says with sadned eyes, hoping that his father would understand. But what he receives is a chuckle from the king.

"So, it's good isn't it? He will take care of you."

"I don't want my husband to treat me like a child father. I want him to love me...like he does."
Prince wants to say the last part out loud but he controls.

"Prince Seokjong loves you son..."
The king says and that makes the prince laugh.

"Really father? I have met him only twice, we haven't even talked properly. And you're saying that he loves me? How?"

The king keeps looking at his seventeen years old son for a moment with a smile and answers his question.

"You're still so young my son...you still don't feel it, you don't know what love is."

"Oh trust me father I do. I know how it feels like to be loved like I'm the only person in the world. I know how it feels like to be loved with so much care and respect. I know how it feels when someone looks at me with lots of love and adoration. I feel it...he makes me feel all these things. He makes me feel what love is."
Prince Taejong answers his father in his head. But he knows that he is not allowed to say those things so he keeps listening to the king.

"When you grow up, you will feel his love. But we can't wait till you get older. You have to take the throne once you're eighteen and...you should be married by then."
The king finishes and the prince lets out a deep sigh. Being a prince is not easy, you can't marry a man. You have to marry another state, another dynasty. You can't marry for the sake of yourself, you have to marry for the sake of your people, your country. Prince is aware of all thses things. He always knew that one day he will be facing all these things but it's harder than he thought.

He sighs and gets up as he understands that there's no point of arguing with the king right now. He might try later...again but right now he needs a break, a little moment away from others and...be in his arms. He bows to the king and exits the room.

Prince Taejong enters to his area of the castle. He is the crowned prince so it's a quite big area but mostly only his maids come here, occasionally king and queen do too. So he is walking in an empty halfway, heading towards his room.

Suddenly he is pulled into a room by someone and the door is closed. The prince gets scared and looks around with widdned eyes, it's the room he uses for winter. Since it's summer this room is not used these days, who would want to- yeah.

Prince Taejong gets who did this, only one person would want to have a moment secretly. A smile appears on his lips, a sad smile of course. The prince turns around and looks at him...the one who loves him unconditionally, the one who protects him like a precious gem. He is the one Prince Taejong wanted to see ever since he left the king's room and now he is right in front of him, smiling at him.

"Jeonghyung..."
Prince mumbles and runs into his arms and is being embraced tightly by his servant. This is his safe place and he has no hesitant to let everything out. Tears which he has been hidden so far rolls down his cheeks, he lets them out. The fact that Jeonghyung been taller and more muscular than the prince help him to hide himself more in the other male.
