Warnings: Alcohol; fluff
It was a good day. The Commander was in a happy mood for some reason which made you very confused. The always stoic and moody commander was in a very happy mood and you didn't know why. At first, you thought it was because he didn't have to deal with the Chancellor or any of the senators today. Then, you thought it was because he had found a new caf flavor that he liked.
You were filling out some of the paperwork that Fox had given you when he came up to your desk. He just stood there with a grin on his face and you were kind of scared. Usually, he'd be scowling down at you for whatever reason. You were waiting for him to say something but he kept looking at you with that grin.
"Um, sir? Do you need something?" you asked nervously. Fox just stayed still until his grin grew wider.
"Yeah, I do. I want to place a bet. Are you up for it?" he asked. He nodded his head at Thire as he walked past.
You blinked. He had never placed a bet with you before. He only made bets with his brothers, and he certainly never asked you things that did not relate to work. You were so confused by now. You thought he was sick or had hitten his head and got a concussion. Or something like that which would make him act like this. "It depends on what the bet is," you answered slowly.
"I bet that I could outdrink you at 79′s," he said calmly. You were even more shocked. He never invited you to go with him to 79′s with his brothers, before.
"Sir? Are you sure this is professional? I am your assistant after all." you asked as he took a sip from his caf in his hand.
Fox waved you off. "Who cares? Everyone needs a good break from work every once in a while. So are you going to do the bet? Either way, you can still come with us to 79′s."
This was totally unlike Fox. "Um, sir? Are you okay? You haven't got a concussion have you?" you asked hesitantly. He was still your superior officer and you were worried if you had spoken out of line.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Why wouldn't I be?" he asked confused. He shrugged and was about to walk back into his office but you quickly stopped him.
"What time am I supposed to meet you at 79′s, Commander? I'm definitely going to win this bet and then you have to do whatever I say," you said.
Fox smirked. "Oh, I think you got it all wrong. I'm winning this bet and then you'll have to do whatever I say. Meet me outside of 79′s at 0700. The boys and I will be waiting." he said as he walked into the office and closed the door.
You sighed happily. You couldn't wait for this evening. You had waited for what seemed like your whole life to spend time with Fox outside of the office. You had begun to have a crush on him during the first month that you worked for him. Now, you were going to the bar with him on a sort of date.
Now, you just had to wait for the day at the office to end.
------
Finally, the day had come to an end. You were at your apartment on the slightly lower end of Coruscant. You looked at yourself in the mirror, hoping that you were wearing something good enough to spark Fox's interest. You were wearing a sparkly red dress the hue of the Coruscant Guard red. It was somewhat short and exposed your curves very well. You wore matching red heels and your hair was down, instead of your normal bun.
