"You what!?!" Huey exclaims.
"I can explain! Why am I like this. I know this is bad but-"
"No," he says.
Huey smiles.
"I will help you."
"Really?"
"Yep. The Junior Woodchuck Guidebook says the average person begins feeling things for other at around age 12-14."
"We are twelve."
"Yeah, I have felt like this since I met her, and I just don't know how to do anything to impress her."
"Well," Huey says. "Tonight, you are going to ask her to dance."
"But how? I have no clue how to dance. Plus, we have to leave in 45 minutes, so there is no time."
"No time to become a master. But time to get the basics."
Huey takes me to a room, closes a door, and moves some furniture to the sides.
"I will be right back," Huey says.
A few minutes later, he is back.
"I am going to teach you how to dance."
"You better not make me dance with you," I say.
"No, no, no," he says. "Just do what I do."
Huey puts his arms out, and begins to spin.
I did the same.
He put his hand out, and twirled an imaginary person.
I did the same.
After nearly 25 minutes, I start to get the hang of it.
"Wait," I say. "Does Webby know how to dance?"
"I know for sure. Remember a years or two ago, Me and Webby both went to the same cotillion, and we even...."
Huey stops talking because I can feel may self getting angry.
"Any who," Huey says, "I just ask of you one thing."
"What?" I say.
"Confess your feelings."
"WHAAAAAT!!!!!!!"
"Yep. Tell Webby how you fell."
"ARE YOU OUT OF YOU'RE MIND!!!!!!!!"
"Imagine, what if you never tell her."
"But she doesn't like me!"
"How do you know that."
He's right.
"Webby is kinda shy. If anyone would not confess their feelings, it would be her."
"But what if she likes you or Dewey."
"Her and I are like sisters, and Dewey, well."
I fell sad.
Huey put his hand on my shoulder. "They hang out enough that at least one of them would spill the beans."
I smile.
"You're right," I say.
As me and Huey walk out, Dewey is waiting for us, in his suit and all.
Just then, Webby walks out of her room wearing the most beautiful pink dress.
All three of us gasp.
"I'm excited," she says. Yeah...I've never actually been to a dance before."
But I am the only one to turn red.
I immediately run into the bathroom, and yell, "I have to go, before we go."
Help.
