Her volleyball story(Hinata x Kageyama x reader)

Her spikes and defending are slipping?

Y/n pov

I woke up the next day, Wednesday, I felt ill. Turns out I have a fever. So I can't go to school. So I texted Hinata.

Y/n
Hey Hinata. I can't
come to school today.
I have a bad fever

Hinata
Oh, poor you.
I will tell coach
And I will text
You what we did.
Hope you feel
Better!

I smiled as I read the message.

Hinata's pov

Y/n texted me she was sick, I felt bad. As I got to school I told Kageyama. I was abit dissapointed, playing with her is fun. Shes so good. I love it!

After school

Practice was kinda dull without Y/n. But it was still okay. I hope she starts to feel better soon. Afew people asked me where she was. I told them she had a fever. I am sure she wil lbe back tomorrow.

The next day

Y/n's pov

I felt so much better, I told Hinata and we met outside. He gave me the notes of the day before. I took them and left them home. We walked to school.
Y/n:"So what did you do at practice?"
Hinata:"The usual. Oh y/n can you help me with recieving?"
I nodded. He smiled and we got to school. The news of me joining the boys volleyball club spread around quickly. Two girls aproached me.
G1.:"So you are the one in the volleyball team. You don't seem so special."
I ignored her. The second then said.
G2:"I bet she only joined to get the boys."
I turned to Hinata. He was on his phone.
G1:"I bet she isn't even that good."
G2:"Yeah. She could of joined the girls volleyball team like us"
Ooh. That is what is was, they were form the volleyball team. I chuckled.
G1:"what you laughting at."
Y/n:"I didn't join the girls volleyball club because it was so unenthusiastic that it seemed dead. You aren't on my level. Infact. We win because we are there for eachother. They don't care if I am a girl or not. They care if I cna play or no. Its not about gender it is about skills."
G1:"Bahaha. I bet you cant even stop a strong serve"
G2:"Yeah. No one stops her serves. They are probably too powerfull for you"
I looked at hinata. He smiled.
Y/n:"Prove it. Lets go"
G1:"Now!?"
I nodded and Hinata chucked me the keys. I put my trainers on and the knee things. I git to the gymnad unlocked it. I passed her a ball.
Y/n:"Two serves. If you win I will quit the boys team. If I win you stop bothering me."
She nodded and she served her serves. They were so easy to block. It was way weaker than the boys'. It was my turn. I served them like I served at Oikawa's team. She missed both.
G2:"You are cheating!"
I looked at her.
G2:"Spiking them. 2 spikes and if she wins both you quit."
I laughed and nodded. Honestly her spikes were easy. I stopped both. By that time the whole boys team was there watching.
G1:"Stop. Your probably a defender thats why your so good. Let's see you spike."
I rolled my eyes.
Y/n:"Kageyama-kun. Cna you please set 2 sets for me."
He laughed and nodded. They were taller than me but easy to out jump. I scored the 2 points wiht ease.
G2:"What are you even?! You are so good at everything!"
She was practically scremaing that. I laughed. The team grinned.
Y/n:"I am everything. Hunny you may focus practicing your spiking or defending. I practiced them all. Seeting, defending, serving everything. I can play anything. I am every position."
The girls seemed in shock.
G2:"How!? It took me years to perfect my setting. And took her years to perfect her spiking."
Y/n:"Hunny. I don't play volleyball for the win, or to perfect one thing. My volleyball and yours are two diffrent things. It took me years yes. But I practiced everything, I bled, I swet, I spend nights sleepless. It all pays off. You can't perfect everything. But practice makes you better at it. I practiced everything that now I can practically be a defender,spiker, libero or anything."
G1:"Thats not fair you didn't tell us you were this good!"
I blinked.
Y/n:"You asked?"
She seemed taken aback and annoyed. I span around and left the gym.
Y/n:"Sorry guys. She wouldn't leave me alone."
They smiled and Tanaka and Noyo hooked their arms around my neck and we all laughed and left.
