*Time skip (your pov)*
It's been a month since that day. Hajime always checks up on me but I actually enjoy his company. We've become friends but I've developed a crush on him.
"I have food." Hajime said going into my room.
"I just ate some chicken nuggets." I said pointing to the plate with crumbs and sauce on it.
"I see. Okay, so how are you doing?" He asked.
"Fine hand over the plate. If I don't eat much don't be surprised." I said. He still seemed unsure so I left to the bathroom with ribbons wrapped them around my thighs, arms and waist tying it and leaving. I then handed them to him so he can tell the difference.
"You really have been improving." He said shocked.
"Yeah I have." I sighed sitting on my desk and doing my homework.
"You don't seem happy." He said.
"I know we're friends and all but I want to be treated like a friend, not a patient."
"I don't treat you like a p-"
"You do. You never come over to hang out. You only ever come over with food even though I always eat before you arrive. Now if you'd excuse me I have a student council meeting." I said leaving.
When I returned to my room I was greeted by a note on my desk.
Meet me at the entrance of the festival at 5:30.

I smiled seeing this note excited for the festival.
It was still two weeks away so in that time I had to get Hajime to not treat me like I can collapse any moment.
"So y/n do you have any plans for your spare time in the festival?" Chiaki asked.
"Yeah Hajime's going to join me." I said.
"Could we join?" Nagito asked.
"I'll ask Hajime." I said smiling.
"Ah, y/n just the lady I wanted to see. I made you a delicious meal!" Teruteru said.
"Why would you make me food when I just ate lunch?" I asked.
"Oh um no reason!" He said panicked and that's when I clued in.
"Hajime told you guys didn't he?" I asked.
"He told Mikan because you collapsed but we already knew." Fuyuhiko said.
"Well I'm glad you all love to just hide things from me. My health shouldn't be any of you concern. Now if you'd excuse me I'll be going." I said leaving the classroom and going to the bridge above the river.
"Why does everyone just treat me like a patient. Don't they know I can just take care of myself." I said to myself.
*Hajime's pov*
I saw y/n leaving the school while everyone was heading in for lunch. I was curious so I kinda just followed her.
She went all the way to the bridge above the river that's outside of town.
"Why does everyone just treat me like a patient. Don't they know I can just take care of myself." She said to herself.
I watched as she sat on the railing and dangled her feet.
"God and Hajime. He treats me the worse he didn't even pretend to be oblivious about it. I wish I could restart, not be a fat price of shit. Not have people hover over me like I'm gonna die any moment. That'd be nice." She chuckled.
I was about to think she was gonna jump when she spoke again.
"And the hovering never ends, it never will. Isn't it Hinata?" She asked turning around and glaring at me.
"How'd-"
"I heard you. Footsteps are a thing. So the question here is. Will I jump, will you catch me, will you let me fall or will I disappear where you will never find me?" She asked standing on the ledge with her arms out.
"SO WHAT'S IT GONNA BE HINATA? I GAVE YOU 4 OPTION'S AND NOW YOU MUST CHOSE!" She said.
I rushed to her attempting to grab her hand but it was to late she was gone.
*Your pov*
She ran to me trying to grab my hand jut I jumped. Just in time I grabbed the support underneath and sat on it waiting for him to leave.
"I-I lost. S-she's gone." He said.
I held back any words I wanted to say. I found it pretty pathetic how he thinks I'm stupid enough to give up without a fight. But I guess I'll just wait a week or so u til I return to school and pretend noting happened to freak them out.
"I'm sorry." He said and left.
I just stayed low until he was gone and snuck back to my dorm. It was boring and people came into my room for comfort after thinking I died.
I could care less what they thought. They just pretend to actually care.
My classmates came alot but the person who came the most was Hajime.
"Hey y/n. No one found your body. So we have nothing to burry at the funeral but it's today. I'm sorry I couldn't save you." He said and left.
I can't explain why but that hurt me.
