*Next week*
It was the day of the festival. I got dressed in a basic Grey skirt with a dark grey sweater like shirt along with black thigh highs and white vans.
I put my hair up it pigtails with the rest of my hair down. (Like Natsuki's but no clip and at you hair length)Once ready I left and sat by the entrance waiting for Hajime.
Around 5:30 as he said he arrived.
"Hey Hajime!" I said leaping up and hugging him.
"y/n?!" He asked shocked.
"What, are you okay it looks like you've seen a ghost?" I asked.*Hajime's pov*
"What, are you okay it looks like you've seen a ghost?" She said.
"B-but you died I saw you die!" He said.
"I don't remember dying. I survived the collapse. You even left a note on my desk to meet here. I'm confused." She said.
Maybe she is a ghost and thinks she's alive, but she hugged me.
"Let's go." I said grabbing her hand like I failed. I don't know what's going on but if she's back for just a day not knowing she died then I'm gonna make the most of it. I walked into the café with her classmates and they all looked at her shocked.
"So whens my shift I forgot?" She asked.
"WHAT THE HELL HAJIME YOU SAID SHE DIED!" Fuyuhiko said.
"Why do you all think I died?" She asked.
"y/n could you go to the back I need to talk to everyone." I asked. She nodded hugged me and left for the back.
"I saw her jump, I swear I did. But she just appeared." I explained.
"Maybe she didn't actually die. You did say she gave you four options and one being she disappears. Maybe she faked her death and is trying to restart like she said." Peko said.
"I don't know I'll figure it out." I said and took her around."Hajime can we go through?!" She asked.
"Yeah anything you want." I said.
She giggled and dragged me inti the haunted house.
She got scared immediately and clung to me.We went to the play and she cried bacause of how romantic it was and I comforted her.
We played games, she may have failed them but I won her prizes.
We had alot of the snacks that we shared.
The festival was amazing and I never wanted it to end.
"Hajime are you okay?" She asked.
All I could do was hug her.
"H-Hajime?!" She said shocked.
"What do you want to do next?" I asked letting go. She smiled and lead me to the café.
"I want to work!" She said going to the back changed and came back in a maid outfit. I felt my face heat up and she only giggled.
"Now Master what would you like?" She asked.
"Just tea please." I said.
"Right away master." She said leaving and coming back with tea.
She then went out and spent time with her other classmates enjoying her time.
"So Master where to next?" She asked in her regular clothes.
"The fireworks are starting." I said.
"Yay let's go!" She said grabbing my hand. All her classmates and the rest of the school got comfortable on the grass in the field while she took me to the gate climbed it and sat down. I sat next to her and waited for the fireworks but it would be like another 15 minuets.
"You know I'm not actually dead. I just wanted to restart like Peko said. That y/n disappeared and will never be seen again. I wouldn't die, not until I feel everything I need to be done is done." She said.
"So you-"
"I'm sorry I let you worry. I just let my emotions take over. Before I came here I was starved by my parent's, they told me I was fat and useless. So I when I came here I was independent so I wasn't useless and the starving just continued. I only have an Ultimate because I was pretty much a maid for my parents." She said not even looking at me.
"I'm sorry." I said.
"Don't pitty me. I'm going to change but you guys will have to trust me that I'm doing it. I don't like being pittied. I guess being pittied made me lose it and overreacted. But now I intend to become the version of me that I make not what my parents." She said looking at me and smiling.
"And I'll be by your side every step of the way. So will everyone else." I said.
"I'd like that." She said resting her head on my shoulder as I put my hand on-top of hers holding it in a way.*My pov*
"I love you." Hajime and y/n said to eachother just as the first firework went off so neither of them heard but they weren't bothered by no reply knowing the other can't hear and just held onto those words for another time.
