you were walking home sulking after failing a math test. it was out of 100 and somehow you got 41/100. you swear you did study but NOTHING that you studied was on the test like what the fudgey fuck.

that wasent the problem for now. your brothers especially namjoon takes tests results VERY seriously. 'i should just burn the test when no ones home' you thought.

"whats with the face" hoseok said once you've entered the living room. you shrugged then made your way to your bedroom and hoping you won't bump into anyone else.

once you made it in you slammed the door shut then stashed the test paper under your mattress. 'i'll deal with you later' you thought then went to get changed into one of your brothers hoodie that you borrowed since it's more comfortable.

「ꨄ」

you were sat round the table with just your brothers. mom and dad had business to take care of.  you hoped no one brings up the math test because you know for a fact you won't be getting out of the dining room unharmed or even dead.

"i heard that you had a math test today y/n" namjoon questioned. you mentally cursed yourself forgetting that the teacher emailed the results to parents/ any family member.

"huh? what test?" you answered trying to be clueless.

"the one that you got 41 out of.the teacher asked if you'd even study! you got the lowest out of the whole class." namjoon stated.

"oh ok. it's just a test anyway so why are you kinda so mad?" you bluntly said not caring if namjoon was staring daggers directly at you.

"a tests shows if you studied or NOT but clearly you didn't even study if you got 41." namjoon stated.

"well i'm terribly SORRY that the questions wasent  in the textbooks" you shot back.

the rest of the boys stopped eating so they could enjoy the drama going on. unfortunately jin had enough of the two bickering over a stupid test.

he slammed his chopsticks down on the table and stood up causing you and namjoon to stop bickering and looked at him.

"enough! she failed ok? she's 14 namjoon for god sake! it's normal to fail tests at that age! she's still in secondary school! she's still learning okay?" jin said while slouching back into his chair.

namjoon and the boys on the other hand was shocked. jin never raised his voice ever at his sibling. he would of joined in on scolding y/n but he didn't.

he understood the pressure of studying, how you can't be the greatest at every subject. he understood and you are still 14 and you have 3 more years before you go gcse's and go college or university.

"alright alright. I'm sorry y/n" namjoon apologized to you a few minutes later.
"it's fine namjoon. I know you want me to
get good grades and that" you replied.

"yah hyung~! why do you always nag at me when i fail a test." jungkook protested.

namjoon sighs "because your older then her which means you should be abit smarter then her" namjoon explained.

"yeah your meant to be smart  but your actually dumb" taehyung snorted.

"shut up you big baby" jungkook fought back.

jin then signed. 'i should quit my job as an older sibling' he thought, 'its such a hard job looking after the younger kids.'

you sighed in relief once you walked out of the dining room. you actually came out unharmed, well that's a first. it was all thanks to jin. now jin has all your respect saving you from namjoon.

sorry for not updating the story. my asian ass will literally get beaten if my family finds out i failed a math test. i actually never had full marks on a actual math test ever. so proud :D
