A Long Way From Home

"Why don't you just talk to my mum about the Covacis?" TJ asked as Jana's fingers moved the mouse curser, over the laptop.

Then a foot away, was Sierra typing away on her own laptop, her eyes as bright as the screen reflectin' on them now.

"I did already. She said digging around in the past, just unsettles Matei and Emilia." Jana said as Sierra snorted.

TJ sighed as he looked at the computer screen over Jana's shoulder and nods. "She's not wrong. They are not exactly poster kids for stability." He said.

"Neither was I, once. But I had friends, a pack that managed to help me through it all." Sierra says and Jana looked at her.

"You would be a great alpha, but all you need is a big push to get there in your own confidence. A big boost." At once, Sierra's eyes blazed up blue.

"I would be a terrible alpha. I would panic every time I got near a gun, and if my pack, was near one, it would fall to me to save them and I would not be able to move an inch!" Sierra snarls as her eyes blazed and Jana flinches a bit and shakes her head.

"You sounded exactly like an alpha there, just so you know." Jana pointed out and Sierra grunted quietly, as, her veins faded and eyes dimmed back to brown.

"Or maybe, there is just something that Imara doesn't want either of us, to know." Sierra said, swiftly getting their conversation back to the topic at hand.

"Yeah, like the UFO that we have got parked in the garage. Oh, yeah, and a Big Foot in the shed." TJ said, sarcasm all over his scent, as Sierra shakes her head with a laugh, and Jana scoffed.

"I found this on the end of the report on the fire." Sierra said as she brought her laptop over to them all.

"'Action taken: Protocol Five.' Sounds cool." TJ says, looking over, at the two of them, obviously not seeing any of a glaringly obvious problem. "What is it?" He asked after a minute or two of them both staring at him.

"Don't know." Jana said as Sierra clicked on the button and it beeped up as 'Access Denied'.

"I thought that you had access to all areas, for the both of you?" TJ asks as Sierra nodded slightly.

"So did we. So why is she hiding things from us?" Sierra asked as she clicked again, but the same notice had shown up on the screen again.

The next morning, Jana and Sierra were cooking breakfast, and TJ was now bugging them about Protocol 5.

Then Imara was telling them that Norway was off and Sierra shrugged at them, as she walks out of the house and went to the Kafe.

She was helpin' Katrina at the Kafe, until she got a call from Jana, saying that she needed help with the rest of them.

She jogged in and Jana was in the middle of trying to teach them Eolas, as she tried to teach them Eolas and a few things of Ansin.

"I trust you both." Imara said and Sierra shakes her head quickly and she looked at them.

"What's Protocol Five?" Sierra asked of Imara sharply and Imara tried and fails to calm them both down, as they walked off to go find TJ.

They showed them the photo of the guy and TJ went to Selena Khan, yet another wolfblood in the big city, and she wrote down his address quickly to get TJ away from her.

Matei grabbed the book from TJ and Sierra raises a eyebrow. "Give me the book." She said and he shook his head at her.

"We'll go around, check if he was the boy that we saw through Ansion." She said, holdin' her hand out for the book and Matei shakes his head.

"Not without us." Matei growled.

"Are you joking? It's a full moon." TJ was serious for once, as he looked at the circle of wolfbloods.

"This is about our parents. He might have started the fire." Emilia said and Sierra shakes her head.

"We just want to see him for ourselves." Matei reasoned and Jana let out a low grunt.

"Fine. TJ, go home and tell your mum." Sierra says and TJ scoffed and at once, was shaking his head.

"I don't think so, Tracker girl. We're all in this together, right?" TJ asked as Sierra looks at Jana, who shrugged at her.

"You really don't want to be the one who goes to tell your mum?" It was a certain Jana, who asked TJ this now.

"Do you blame me?" TJ asked.

"Look, we go together. All of us." They all looked at Emilia, and then to Sierra as they wait for the Tracker's verdict.

"Fine, but we do it, Jana and my ways, now give me the address." She said, as Matei handed her the book.
