"SHINRA!"

The door swung off its hinges and collapsed onto the floor, as an angry looking bodyguard and an annoyed information broker came bursting into the house like they owned the place. A couple of seconds pass with silence, until Shinra came out of his office with an annoyed expression on his face. He looks at the two of them and smile, rubbing his eyes and readjusting his glasses before looking down at his doorless doorframe. "WHY THE HELL DID YOU BREAK DOWN MY DOOR?!" He shouted, as Shizuo huffed and put the pale man onto the floor, letting him stand up. Shizuo looked back at the broken door. "I'll... pay for that." He mumbled, as Shinra shot him a menacing glare before looking back at Izaya.

"What did you do to him now?" Shinra sighed, as he adjusted his glasses. Shizuo opened his mouth, but then Shinra silenced him again and held onto Izaya's wrist, taking Izaya into the living room. Shinra encouraged Izaya to sit down, but he looked back at the tall blonde man. "I don't want to be here." Izaya hissed at Shizuo, before attempting to walk away. Shizuo responded to this by politely throwing Izaya onto the couch. "Will you just tell me why you took him here?! And how are you two even in the same room right now?!" Shinra yelled, as Izaya shook his head.

"Can I go home?"

"Ye-"

"NO."

Shizuo started to look intimidating, so Izaya sat down as Shinra huffed and adjusted his glasses again. "You better make this quick." He said, as Izaya looked at Shinra with an annoyed mask. "I didn't ask to be here!" Shinra put his finger over Izaya's lips to shut him up as he went into his office, coming out seconds later with a clipboard and pen. He sat down in the sofa parallel from Izaya as Shizuo took a seat in between the two of them. "I don't exactly want to answer anything with that dumb brute here." Izaya hissed, and Shizuo looked back at him.

"If you don't want to be here you can leave." Shinra said, but Shizuo kept Izaya down.

"I took him here for a damn reason."

"It would be nice if you TOLD ME THAT REASON!" Shinra yelled, as Shizuo sighed, pressing his fingers against the side of his head.

"Izaya seems to be having eating problems."

"How in the world is that my problem?" Shinra mumbled, as Shizuo glared at him.

"I thought you two were 'mortal enemies' who try to KILL EACH OTHER EVERY DAY?!"

"Well maybe I don't want to be anymore!"

The room went silent. Izaya looked at Shinra, and then at Shizuo, and at Shinra, and back at Shizuo again. He didn't know if he had even heard that right; Shizuo didn't want to kill him? "Shizuo, did you say you want to be friends with me?" Izaya said with a smug look on his face. Shizuo turned back to Izaya and looked back at Shinra.

"I did not say that you dumb flea-"

"I think you did though."

"No I didn't. Stop putting words in my mouth."

"Awww, but Shizu-Chan, wasn't it so thoughtful that you took me to see Shinra because you were worried for me?"

"CAN YOU TWO FLIRT OUTSIDE?!" Shinra yelled, as he interrupted their 'arguing'. Shinra looked back at the open faced door with no door. "Well fuck." He said, as he sighed aloud. "Can you two get out of my damn apartment?" Shinra mumbled, as Izaya looked relieved. "Alright, I'll go! Bye Shinra, I hope to never see you again!" Izaya laughed in a crooked tone, sprinting out the door.

"Bye Izay- Wait what?"

"SHINRA!" Shizuo yelled, as Shinra faced his head towards the angry adult-child. Shinra looked back at Shizuo again. "WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU WANT?!" Shizuo looked baffled. Shinra looked angry and quite annoyed. "I brought Izaya here for a reason you know." Shizuo mumbled, as Shinra looked at him with a dumbfounded expression. "Why would I care?"

"You're his damn friend! What do you mean you don't want to care?!" Shizuo yelled, as Shinra covered his face with his hands and sighed. "I've had a lot of work to do you know." The underground Doctor huffed. "So you can't take a couple of minutes to check on one of your friends who might be in critical condition?" Shizuo asked, as Shinra looked at Shizuo.

"He seems like the regular asshole he always is."

Shizuo didn't say anything. He felt concerned. Did Izaya even have any friends he could depend on? Why did he seem so upset these days? It made him feel a bit upset to be honest. Being in a world with no other friends you can trust sounded a bit sad of a life. Shinra walked back into his office, shutting the door behind him. "At least this room has a damn door." He yelled to nobody in particular. Shizuo felt like he was angry for some reason. Angry at one of his best friends.

"How can you say such a thing?" Shizuo said in an angry tone. Shinra looked back at him. "You were the one who broke my door."

"I meant how could you say you don't care about Izaya? He is your friend isn't he?" Shinra looked back at the fake blonde for a moment before adjusting his glasses.

"Maybe it's time for you to take that responsibility, Shizuo."
