This year was the year humanity turned sour. Before now regulars and Irregulars had lived together in peace and harmony. Regulars being humans with no special abilities and Irregulars being humans with powers. Us all had some kind of power, whether it is something like talking to birds or creating balls of energy out of thin air or being able to dance to any song perfectly with no flaws, we all had an ability. All of us. We don't know why they attacked, but they did. At first it was reported missing people that no one really payed attention to, but after a few days where over of thousands of irregulars were going missing worldwide, we began to hide. We would meet up in little groups to practice our abilities, you see, if we conceal them for too long, we die. But people in our groups would rat us out, as the government offered a lot of money to those who did. They all ended up dead- all of them. The problem was, everyone was scared, everyone was terrified and lonely. We didn't know who to trust. We didn't know what to do. We didn't know where to go. We couldn't do anything. Eventually, the government had managed to eradicate us. All of us. Or so they thought...

There are still a few, you see. Regulars can give birth to irregulars, even if there were no genes in the family. It is what makes us unique. Before, that wouldn't happen, but the world needed Irregulars just as much as they needed it, so the world began to make new ones.

My name is Tommy, I am a normal kid, I swear, it's just... I can control time... As I said before, normal. I'm regular, I'm a regular kid, I swear, it's just... I can control time... As I said before, regular. I can make it go forwards, backwards and I can make it stop. Only, if I use it for over 5 seconds, I become weak. Very weak. This isn't my story, it's all of ours, I'm just telling it... and this is where it began, with me, being sick of this time, me being stupid, me using my power to get out of here... I moved time forward... you see, my age won't change if I move time forward, but it will if I go behind this time. And that is something I just can't afford.
