Their vacation at the beach might be short but it was everything Wonwoo could ask for. Everything was perfect. The mid-semester break was over and for Wonwoo, it was a heck out of a ride. But luckily it didn't end horribly. Then, the semester continued as usual with the pile of assignments.
But of course, a long-term peace was never in Wonwoo's dictionary. One night, he got another weird dream. A dream so quick he couldn't even avoid it. It began with him standing all by himself in the middle of nowhere. Far, far away, a fire lit up bright enough for Wonwoo to see it clearly. Well, at least it's surrounding. Six 'figures' could be seen around the heat. Five of 'them' were standing, facing towards Wonwoo while the last one was sitting, back-facing him. All of them were looking at the fire intensely... or at the one sitting. Wonwoo decided to leave and avoided that shit as soon as possible but something caught his eyes that made him stay in his position. The one in the middle had the head of a wolf. The five of their heads were not human. Wonwoo widened his eyes.
Suddenly, the five 'figures' raised their heads, looking at Wonwoo. And with that, Wonwoo woke up from his sleep. He sat up and looked around. There was no slight panic in his eyes, only utterly confused. The clock showed 3:33 in the morning. Sometimes, he wondered...why did he have to see all that? Same questions going through his mind over and over again. Why him? Why the visions?
Wonwoo got up and went to Mingyu's room, deciding to sleep with his boyfriend. He looked at Mingyu and sighed. The latter looked so tired. All the assignments really have worn him out. His poor puppy. Wonwoo climbed on the bed and laid beside his boyfriend as he brushed the hair of Mingyu's forehead. Mingyu switched his sleeping position as he laid on the side, facing Wonwoo. With that, the latter closed the gap and used his boyfriend's bicep as the pillow. He hugged Mingyu and drifted off to sleep.

Life had mercy for the two boys for a while. Seems like fate knew what to prioritize in Wonwoo's life. The semester went smoothly for both of them as they prepared for the final exam. They've been avoiding the dreams at all costs, trying their best to live a normal life, pretending as if nothing happened. It's hard but they tried. The study came first and of course, they wanted to pass this semester with flying colors. Their group chat was chaotic with everyone yelling at each other to stop playing with their phones and study. They all planned to go on vacation together after everyone was done with the exam. Even Jun and Minghao who were still in China were also hyping about the topic. But out of all the chaos, Wonwoo could see that Hansol seemed off. Hansol usually was the one who would hype every topic they talked about but this time, he barely replied to any chat.
One day, Wonwoo went home by himself since Mingyu was busy, as usual. Climbing the stairs, Wonwoo's hand slipped into his pocket, searching for the keys. He got the keys as he almost reached his apartment but suddenly, he stopped. Shocked and terror filled his body as he saw a black snake was curling in front of his apartment's door. Immediately turning away, Wonwoo went back down to search for the landlord. A few minutes later, two of them arrived at Wonwoo's apartment but unfortunately, the snake was nowhere to be found.
"I'll call the animal control to check. As for now, be careful okay?" the landlord said and Wonwoo nodded.
The boy slowly walked toward the door as he looked around. He entered his apartment and still checked around the front door area. He then texted his boyfriend regarding the issue and informed him to be careful when he got home later.
"How can a snake get to the fifth floor?" Wonwoo asked himself.
That evening Mingyu came home, exhausted from all the assignments. After he ate the food Wonwoo prepared, he jumped onto his bed and fell asleep. Later that dusk, Mingyu woke up, knowing damn well that he's gonna have a hard time sleeping later tonight. He sat up while rubbing his eye when suddenly, he froze out of terror. As his eyes fell onto the blanket, chills went through his spine when he saw a black handprint on the blanket. Mingyu looked at the ink stain for a second before he ran out of his room. He went to Wonwoo and grabbed him.
