"'She' likes Mingyu hyung. 'She' wants to keep him as a puppet." Jeongin said.
Wonwoo froze as he heard it, shocked.
"Why?" Wonwoo asked.
"Why do you do this? We leave you alone. What do you want from us?"
"Revenge." The 'serpent' stated.
"You took 'them' from me. I'm gonna take yours." 'she' smirked.
Suddenly, the demon let out a grunt as 'she' freed herself from Jeongin's control. The boy got pushed by an invincible force and fell on the floor. A dagger appeared in 'her' hand as 'she' jumped on top of unconscious Mingyu. Raising 'her' hand high in the air, 'she' swung it fast, aiming at Mingyu's chest.
"Wait!" Wonwoo shouted.
'She' froze when the sharp knife was an inch away from the chest. Wonwoo felt like all life in his body had been sucked out. For a second, he thought he lost Mingyu.
"Leave him alone."
"T-take me instead." A drop of tear rolled down Wonwoo's cheek.
"No! It's my fault. I started all this. You should take me." Jeongin interrupted as he got up.
The demon looked at Jeongin as 'she' gritted 'her' teeth. 'She' tossed Mingyu to the side as 'she' approached the boy. Jeongin looked down in defeat. But then, he smirked when he saw the demon was far enough from Mingyu. Raising his hands again, the 'woman' got pushed to the floor. The 'serpent' screamed in frustration.
"Fall right into my trap." Jeongin let out a sinister laugh.
"Hold that damn 'thing'." Wonwoo said to Jeongin as he approached the demon.
His white aura started to grow bigger and bigger. Wonwoo grabbed 'her' hair as he held the head up. Smoke started to come out of where Wonwoo grabbed 'her'.
"You're pissing me off." Wonwoo said as he slammed 'her' head onto the floor.
Jeongin looked at Wonwoo a bit shocked. He didn't expect the latter to have this side. It's terrifying. Wonwoo raised her head again.
"CRUX SACRA SIT MIHI LUX! VADE RETRO SATANA SUT! IPSE VENENA BIBAS!" Wonwoo recited.
The 'serpent' started to scream in pain as her 'body' started to get on fire. Jeongin immediately grabbed 'her' temple as he absorbed 'her' power. The two got away from the 'thing' as they watched 'it' burnt into ashes.
"Hyung, your hands!" Jeongin frowned.
Wonwoo looked at his hands and his eyes widened. His hands turned black up to elbows.
"Why did you absorb the power?" Wonwoo asked the boy.
"The venom is still inside Mingyu hyung. I take 'her' power so that I can fully extract the venom out." Jeongin explained.
They approached Mingyu and Wonwoo hugged his boyfriend. Jeongin grabbed Mingyu's arm as he pulled the venom out. Purple liquid could be seen coming out from the wound, flew into the air, and vanished. Wonwoo looked at his hands and it was still black.
"What happened to your hands?" Jeongin asked.
"I-I'm tainted... This is why I don't touch 'them'." Wonwoo replied.
"It's done now. Let me take you home, Gyu." Wonwoo collided his forehead with Mingyu's.
Wonwoo kissed the forehead as Mingyu slowly disappeared. Jeongin frowned.
