1. New Boy

It was the first day at the BH university some students were new, some were there for years, some where excited to meet their friends after a long holiday whereas some don't even wanna be here in the first place and just go home under their soft duvets.

There were many new students this year one of them being Choi Beomgyu as he walked into the gates of the university,many i mean MANY people noticed his presence and some girls starting fangirling over how handsome the brunette was, everyone already assuming he's gonna become popular in no time.

Yeonjun was Beomgyu's one and only friend at this university,they have been friends since diapers.

Due to Beomgyu's dad's business they had to move to the states for almost four years,the brunette moved in the last years of middle school and came back to Seoul at the third year of high school.

Beomgyu walked into the hallway of the university trying to figure out where his first class is,on his way there he could feel many eyes on him which didn't make him feel comfortable as walking towards the stairs he saw a blue haired boy who seem way to familiar he started walking towards him and saw he was holding someone's hand smiling widely, after a while he realized it was no other than Yeonjun, it took a while to realize the older as he had brown hair in high school and now blue.

"Yeonjun hyung!" Beomgyu called out waving at the blue haired boy.

Yeonjun was quick to react as he turned around towards the voice and saw no other than his high school best friend who he hadn't seen for years.

"Beomgyu?" The blue haired asked.

"yup!" Beomgyu grinned as he started jogging towards the boy.

"Hi!" Beomgyu waved smiling widely he seemed very engergic.

"Omo it's been so long" Yeonjun said hugging the black haired male

"How are you? And how did you come I thought you left forever" Yeonjun asked the boy in front of them.

"It's a long story, don't ask question" Beomgyu replied bluntly.

"Anyways who is he?" Beomgyu asked Yeonjun looking at the way taller male standing next to Yeonjun smiling showing off his dimples.

"Oh right, this is my boyfriend Soobin" Yeonjun introduced him and beomgyu looked at Soobin smiling as he went to shake hands with the taller male.

"Omo you're so tall" Beomgyu said to the taller male.

"I know I have heard it many times" Soobin chuckled.

"Anyways can you help me find my class, I'm kinda lost" Beomgyu said sheepishly rubbing the back of his neck.

"Sure" Yeonjun and Soobin replied in unison.

The couple helped Beomgyu look for his class and left to go their own classes.

Beomgyu entered the class and he felt many eyes on him as he walked towards an empty seat next to a taller but younger male.

"Hey" the boy next to Beomgyu said as Beomgyu replied back with a hi.

"You're new right?" The young male next to him asked.

"I am" Beomgyu answered with a kind smile.

"Nice to meet you, I'm hueningkai but you can call him kai" the younger male next to him replied with a smile.

"I'm Beomgyu" the raven haired male said as he smiled back.

"It seems you're already popular here many people have eyes on you" Hueningkai said.

"I guess" Beomgyu said while rubbing the back of his neck.

"I'm not really used to this, it's weird" Beomgyu replied a bit awkward from all the eyes around him.

"I understand" Hueningkai said nodding as the teacher for the first lecture entered and all the students looking towards the teacher.

It was currently lunch and Beomgyu decided to go tour the college as he didn't know where half of his classes were.

He had already eaten his lunch and was walking around in the school, as Beomgyu was taking a look around the school he came across the library and decided it won't hurt to go inside and read a book as he still had time for the next class.

Beomgyu walked into the library as he bowed to the librarian and went towards the tall shelves to look for a book, he started looking through the books to see if he likes something and saw a book named 1948.

'A classic' Beomgyu thought and took the book to read as he walked towards the tables to take a seat.

He noticed a boy with red hair, sitting and minding his own company reading.

The only word Beomgyu could describe the latter would be beautiful he had bright red hair, with sharp features he had a quite a natural sculptured jaw and small for pretty eyes but he was wearing an eye patch on his left eye.

Beomgyu thought he must have gotten hurt and would be okay after few days but didn't he know that he always that been wearing it.

Beomgyu walked towards the latter to take a seat in front of him.

"Um excuse me is this seat taken" Beomgyu asked as he looked at the red haired boy.

The boy looked up from his book making a small eye contact with Beomgyu but instantly looked down at his book.

"No" the boy replied bluntly almost emotionlessly.

Beomgyu took the seat in front of the latter as he started reading but kept looking up from his book to look at the red hair guy who he would describe as beauty.

"Could you stop staring into my soul?" the latter replied again with no emotions as his eyes were still on the book he was reading.

"I'm not staring at you!" Beomgyu defended being a loud as he always is catching everyone's attention in the library but quickly apologized.

"Could you shut up, you're in a library" the red hair said.

"Sorry.." Beomgyu replied rubbing the back of his head in embrassment.

He started reading again but got distracted and started staring at the male without realising but this time the latter looked up with sharp eyes piercing at him but the raven haired male could only look at him with an eye patch on his left eye but could feel his strong gaze.

"Could you stop staring?" The latter replied but this time with emotion of being annoyed.

"Fine but what is your name?" Beomgyu asked.

"Why?" The red hair replied again in the same tone of bluntness.

"I don't know, we could be friends" Beomgyu replied the latter's question with a small smile but a bright one.

"I don't make friends" the latter replied.

He was shocked, someone saying he wants to be friends with him was unusual has ever, no one has ever told him that but decided to stay cold and stood up, took his book and bag to leave for the next class which was in 5 minutes as lunch was almost over.

Beomgyu was left speechless at the red haired male's coldness but he doesn't know why he wants to befriend the latter in the first place maybe gut feeling or he was just curious about him?

He wanted to know more about the boy as he seemed lonely, he already became friends with Soobin and Kai and already was very close to Yeonjun but still wanted to befriend the latter and doesn't know why.
