"So what was this about plans you were talking about?"
I planted one last kiss on her forehead before answering.
"Well, we need to settle some things before we leave. Places to stay for example."
"Actually I think I have that one covered. We can stay in my kingdom, my home."
I hesitated. I was running away not only to be with Olympia but also to get away from royal life, living with her in another castle would just defeat the purpose. If this was going to work then I'd have to be honest with her.
"Baby, don't get mad, but I'm not sure I want that. All the pressure and hate, I'm not sure if I'd be able to handle all that again."
Her eyes filled with tears.
"Those things, everything that's happened here I can never change it, and I can only hope that you'll have a better future, but back home things are different. Things are changing, and I know you can't see that right now but it's true. No one would judge us there, we'd be free to be who we are."
I saw how desperately she wanted to go home, be back with her family. And not much could be worse than living here in the castle so I gave in.
"As long as we can take long walks while I hold your hand and fill you with kisses, then I don't mind. All I wan't is a life with you, and if this is what it takes then let it be"
Tears ran down her rosy cheeks but a smile lit up her face.
"Thank you so much baby. I love you."
"And I love you"
