Time travel

It was dinner time. I heard the bell and walked downstairs and into the dining room. I got to my chair and stood behind it waiting for dad to say we could sit down. He slowly walked in his kane hitting against the hardwood floors. He pulled out his chair and sat down he glanced around the table.

"Sit!" He said sternly.

We all pulled out our chairs and started to eat. As we were eating 5 stabbed his knife into the table.

"I have a question."

"No talking during dinner."

"Why can't I time travel."

And they went on for awhile about why 5 can't time travel until 5 ran off.

"5! 5 you get back here!" He shouted.

I got up and ran after him.

"5!" I shouted. I got to him and grabbed his wrist soon I was sucked away. I fell to the ground and looked around. What the?

"Bexley?"

"Yeah, it's me." I said standing up.

"How?"

"I don't know I grabbed your wrist just as you time traveled."

"Awesome."

I grabbed his wrist again and he time traveled again to winter. Then he did it again but this time it wasn't anything, there was fire and gray smoke. I looked around in fear.

"5, take us home." I said.

"I'm trying, but it won't work."

"I'm sorry, what?!"

"It won't work!"

My eyes widened. What the hell is happening? As he continued to try I looked around and saw ashes and ruins crumbled buildings, holes bigger than a car and deeper than at least 5 feet. But one thing caught my eye. The academy.

"5, look." I said pointing to the academy.

I walked into the ruins of the building. I saw a woman that looked like Allison but way older. And Klaus, and Diego, and Luther, and Vanya . They all were dead. I covered my mouth with my hand I stared in disbelief.

"Oh my god." 5 said in shock.

"We have to get out of here." I said as I grabbed his wrist and started to run. We ran and ran until I stopped. I picked up what looked like a newspaper and read the date. I tore off the page and folded it up. And caught up with 5, we ran until we couldn't breathe.

"We're stuck here." I said as I collapsed.

"No, we'll find a way out." 5 said his voice full of hope.

"No we won't. We are gonna die here!"

"Don't say that." He cooed.

I buried my face in my hands. How did this even happen? I'm so confused.
