Dad's been dead for about a month now and life has started looking better for us Elliott has been making potions and is being tutored by ms.gardel, Amelia is finally accepting having dark magic, Jer has been extremely protective of Jessica and is getting on my nerves, Nick's discovered that he has an amazing talent for fire magic, and James has been getting laid every night since having a talent for compulsion and I've still been practicing spells and invoking my inner witch i dont even need to say spells now, well none of us do because after our awakening our magic has been top notch it turns out dad was right i did get my family's symbol engraved on my palm and it did increase my power, i actually channel my magic through it which makes it much easier, dad had also been right about the soul magic because the next day after the battle my eyes changed from brown to a beautiful light purple almost lavender and that was the same color that took on my most of my spells anyway, so that's just a short catch up of the few weeks im currently sitting in my room testing my soul magic 'ignite' i think looking at the candle and it bursts into purple flames "so cool" I say then i hold otmy right hand and command my magic to go there i don't even have to concentrate as i feel the hot electricity rush up my arm to my hand where my symbol glows a little with a weak purple light i then close my hand throw it out in front of me and open it only for small purple sparks to shoot out of my hand, damn, i close my eyes open them put both hands in the air and say "up" then my bed slowly comes off the ground and my door opens and everyone comes into my room making me lose focus and drop the bed "what the hell were you doing " Jer yells at me while helping me up "she was practicing dude cant you tell her eyes are practically glowing that means she was using magic" Nick says rolling his eyes at Jer "thats what you were doing, it's too dangerous you almost died " Jer says "im fine but why did you all come in my room " I ask "ms.gardel's having a talk with some people and told us to come get you" Elliott explains "i don't know why you aren't that great" Jade says flipping her hair "shut up bitch" i say before I walk out of the room and go downstairs where ms.gardel sits with a group of people who were middle aged except for on man who was midly attractive and had black hair and blue eyes and looked to be in his twenties, as I enter the room ms.gardel looks up and me and smiles "ms.gillard im glad you could join us i have a couple of people who would like to meet you" she said "ummm. ..ok" I say trying not to be rude in total there were six people who 'wanted to meet me' i sat down and let them begin but they didn't  ms.gardel did "this is Margera a witch" she says pointing at an older woman who was drinking a cup of tea with her blonde hair tied up in a perfect bun but she wore way to much red lipstick "this is Gardel a werewolf" she says this time talking about a well built man who screamed terror and had grey eyes and black hair "this is Monte a angel" she had blonde hair and brown eyes and a beautiful smile but something said that she wasn't right a little to barbie dollish maybe "this is Dean a dragon" he was good looking he had spiky brown hair with swamp green eyes and he was definitely a bad boy, but I was totally scared no one told me there were dragons "this is Leo he's a vampire" she said coming to the young guy i saw earlier, now that I noticed it him and Dean were both young  "this is Stacy a demon" she had long black hair a bang and a shirt that shows half her chest "and finally this is Dan an incubus" he was short had black shoulder length hair and a horrible smile "now that you've met them, Elena this is the council or as you may know them the Elders " she says "what! " I say standing quickly "calm down little witch we dont bite " Dean says as a smirk comes on his face i try to ignore his comment "why are they here whats going on" i ask "don't worry dear they'll just be staying with us for a few months" ms.gardel replies "why" I ask "because your father made an attempt at our lives we dont want to have to question his children now do we" Dan asks i mentally punch him in his fucking face "don't worry it'll give us some time to get to know each other" Dean says and smiles and for some reason I feel as if things are going terribly wrong or right
