8:00 AM July 11th 2020

"MOM!!!!" I screamed. I woke up with really bad belly pains, it felt like I was getting stabbed repeatedly in the stomach over and over and over again. My mum ran in and knelt so she was face to face with me. " What's wrong?" She asked while running a hand through my blonde hair. " My stomach hurts bad, It feels like something is stabbing me". For a quick second, Mum's face had a hint of panic then quickly turned soft. She stood up and told me that stay in bed while she rang the doctor.

I could hear the hushed voice of Mum on the phone to the doctor then all of a sudden I heard Jug's voice "WHERES BETTY!"He shouted. "You can't see her she isn't feeling too good," Alice said. "I know she is pregnant Alice stop lying to me and let me see her!" argued Jughead. I heard running up the stairs then my door flew open and there stood jughead. He just stared at me with anger and love in his eyes. He slowly came over to my bed and sat on the edge of it. "Why didn't you tell me?" Questioned Jug. "I wanted to but I just didn't know how. And anyway how do you know?" I replied. "Sienna but don't get angry at her I kinda forced it out of her." He said. Before I could say anything I got really bad stomach pains again. I screamed in agony clutching my stomach. Jug stood up looking concerned whereas Mum ran in again to comfort me. "The doctor said if the pains carry on we need to take you to the hospital to do an ultrasound." "What an ultrasound?" asked Jug. "Something you can see the baby on and listen to its heartbeat," I said like it was the most obvious thing in the world as I sat up " I haven't had mine yet as I'm only 2 weeks." Jughead nodded. "Betty I think you should eat something to see if it helps with the pain," Mum said. "Can I take some medicine after eating for the pain?" Mum smiled and nodded.

Mum held my hand to help me stand up. "Is that meant to be there?" Jug Questioned pointing to the blood on my bed. Both me and mum turned around and looked at the bed. " No it's not, Jug go and ring the doctor and say it's an emergency we think Betty's had a miscarriage," Mum said calmly. I looked at Mum with tears in my eyes "Mum please it stop! I cried while hugging Mum. "I can't Betty. I'm sorry, I wish I could." I could hear Mum's voice crack but she kept it together for me like she always does. "They are sending an ambulance" Jug said quietly. "Jug can you please help me get Betty downstairs," Mum asked. He made his way over to me and carefully helped my hand.

As soon as we got downstairs we heard the ambulance pull into the driveway. Mum let go of my hand to go outside and talk to the paramedics. I hugged Jug while standing near the front door. " I'm so sorry I didn't tell you" I whispered/cried. "It doesn't matter but what matters is that I'm here now and I'm not going anywhere" He replied. I looked up at him and kissed him. " I Love you, Jughead Jones." I managed to say. "I Love you too Elizabeth Cooper," He said back smiling. The front door opened and Mum walked in and said to wrap a coat around my waist because people were outside trying to see what going on.

I walked outside holding Mum and Jug's hand keeping my head down so nobody could see the tears pouring out of my eyes. The paramedics helped me into the ambulance and onto the stretcher. Sienna ran up to the ambulance with Archie, "What's wrong?" She asked. I couldn't speak because of the tears. "They think she's having a miscarriage," Said Jug trying to keep his calm. Sienna and Archie just looked and me with sadness plastered on their face. The paramedics said it was time to go so Jug sat in the ambulance with me while Mum followed behind in her car.
