1. 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐎𝐟 𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐍𝐞𝐰

i'm here, actually here. The school where my brother shot High School Musical. It's such a surreal feeling, you know being here and following in his footsteps. I aspire to be just like my brother in every way. I've always looked up to him. When i first saw High School Musical i fell in love with it. Im happy with what Zac has achieved over the years. He always pushes me to '𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐬' as he says. I'm proud to call Zac my brother.

Well anyway, i'm Alecea Efron. I'm starting my Junior year here at East High. We used to live here actually. Obviously i didn't remember because i was 1 at the time. We came because of Zac. We stayed for 5 years, 2005-2010. And 10 years later i'm back. It's good to actually  be home this time.

"Alecea!"

"Alecea!"

I hear Zac calling me from downstairs. It's my first day at East High and he tells me i cannot be late. He tells me and i quote,

"𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐞𝐞."

Oh my god. How many times he repeated that in the car. Nobody knows who i am, that is of course until my second name pops up in a conversation. They'll all know me as Alecea, Zac efrons little sister. And i don't want to be known as that. So we decided to keep my real surname low and change it to Edwards while i'm at school, just a nobody suspects anything.

I have 30 minutes until i leave for school, so Zac thinks it's a perfect time to educate me on the 'East High Students' ,

"Okay Alecea, some people at east high can not be the friendliest to newcomers."

"Don't you think i know this. I've moved schools a lot more times than you have. I can deal with all that stuff."

"But this schools different."

"Why? Because you filmed there. it's fine, nobody knows i'm your sister. Your just gonna have to keep a low profile when driving me school. Like nobody else can."

Our mom and dad passed away when i was 13. Zac made it his priority to make sure i was taken care of until i left at 18.

"I know. But don't worry, you'll be fine."

I gave Zac a hug. I didn't want to leave him. I knew i couldn't just waddle my way out of this school. I knew i was going to be staying here until i graduate. But i had to go forward and do it, this school is gonna be the one, the one i'll stay at until i leave...

"Alecea let's go. You can't be late."

"I know Zachary!" I giggled

I grabbed my backpack and hopped into Zacs Range Rover and drove off to school.

There's so many places i've not seen about my neighbourhood, and especially the people in it. I took particular notice to this curly headed skateboarder who lives next door to me. I haven't took a proper look at him yet, but from his back profile he's cute as fuck.

We arrived at school. I had the first day jitters. Just staring at the school gave them me.

Zac kissed me on the head,

"Don't worry. You'll be okay."

I got out the car and made my way to the entrance when i saw the curly headed cutie from next door with some red-haired  lad. He goes East High? Wait. I know who he is! It's Big Red! Oh. My. God. I can't believe he goes here. I've known him all my life. Wow, what a small world.

Walking down the corridors of east high was honestly quite an experience. I saw my brothers face everywhere. It's quite unpleasant actually. It's like everywhere i walk my brothers staring at me. Even the Jersey he wore in the movies is framed and hung up in the trophy case. I could smell the sweat through the glass. Number 14.

I made the most of my first day. Got settled in, found my locker and even made a few friends. I haven't had chance to speak to Big Red yet. Maybe i should?
