Wyatt's P.O.V.~

Today was the day. I'd known Eleanor for two weeks and I was going to ask her out. I wasn't really sure how I was going to go about it, but I knew that I was going to do it. I mean Eleanor was so perfect and pretty and beautiful and I just really wanted to make things official. Unless she didn't like me. If she didn't like me that would just be awkward.

"I'm sure she likes you," Willa said wrapping an arm around my shoulder as we headed down the halls of Seabrook High school.

"I really hope so," I muttered thinking about Eleanor's cute smile and fun-loving attitude. "You're a girl what do girls like?" I asked trying to get some ideas on how to ask Eleanor out.

"I don't think you should ask me I'm not that kind of girl," Willa said laughing as she spotted talking to Bucky by Eleanor's locker. "I'll distract pom-pom for you and you get the girl," Willa whispered in my ear before walking over to Bucky and Eleanor.

"Willa Lykensen," Willa said nodding at Eleanor.

"Hey, Willa," Bucky whispered somewhat petrified.

"Bucky! Is this the girl who scared you?" Eleanor asked laughing the beautiful laugh that I loved.

"Yup that's me!" Willa said smiling as she wrapped an arm around Bucky's shoulder. "That was so sweet of you! Telling her all about how much you like me!" Willa said howling with laughter as she finished her sentence.

"I don't like you!" Bucky growled making Willa laugh more.

"Ouch!" Willa replied leading Bucky away from Eleanor.

Finally, Eleanor was alone now I could ask her out. Well if she wanted to go out with me. I really hoped that she did she was an awesome girl that I really started to like. I walked over to her as she watched Bucky and Willa leave with her back towards me.

"Hey, Ella," I said smiling at the girl of my dreams who turned around with a bright smile on her face.

"Wyatt!" She said grinning as she enveloped me in a huge hug making me laugh as I hugged her back.

"I actually came here to ask you something," I said smiling nervously.

"Sure! Ask away!" She said smiling as me as she reached into her locker grabbing two binders, a notebook, planner, and a purple pencil case.

"W-well I was um wondering i-if maybe I d-don't know maybe you'd um."

And just like that, I blanked I mean come on what was I thinking? Me, going out with the most perfect girl in the world? I mean she was pretty, smart, popular, gorgeous, nice, kind, sweet, and everything I wanted in a girl. But of course, she was too good for me. I mean she'd probably just laugh in my face if I asked her out. I sighed looking at Eleanor who blushed smiling at me kindly.

"Are you okay?" She asked shyly, putting a hand on my chest making my heart rate multiply quickly.

"Yeah. I'm fine." I whispered looking at the ground completely ashamed. Well, there you go, Wyatt! You made a fool of yourself in front of your crush. "It's just I really like you and I was wondering if maybe you'd want to try going on an official date together sometime if your free I mean you don't have to-" Eleanor interrupted me with a small sweet laugh as she began speaking.

"I'd love to." She said smiling up at me as I smiled confidently down at her.

I couldn't believe that she agreed to go but with me! I mean one of the most popular girls in the whole school liked me back! She was the most perfect person in the world and she liked me back. Booyah! I'm awesome! Well if you ignore the whole part where I stuttered for twenty minutes and rambled for an even longer time.

But I still got the girl to like me! So I'm awesome! Oh great! Now I have to think of an amazing place to take her! Someplace that's even better than froyo. But does a place like that even exist? Oh well, it's not the time for this right now! Now is the time to enjoy the moment!

I got the girl! I got the girl! Yeah! Take that world I'm awesome!
