Rigby started getting settled in as soon as Mabel got them into the room. It was a good sized room, so they all managed to fit. It had been a exhausting day, and so Rigby instantly fell asleep. In the room around him, nothing was going on except sleep.
In his dreams, things were happening though.
"That wasn't very nice of Gumball there, was it?" A voice echoed.
"Yeah, it was kinda rude....wait, who's there?" Rigby asked, backing up and looking back and forth.
A laugh sounded as a triangle appeared.
"Name's.....well, we'll get into that stuff later." The triangle said, dipping his hat.
"WOAH!" Rigby exclaimed as the world tipped with the hat. As the hat went back on the triangle's head, the world balanced again. "DUDE, WHAT WAS THAT?" Rigby asked, bewildered.
"World tipping hat. Great party trick." The triangle laughed.
"Why are you here?" Rigby asked, staring at the triangle intensely, trying to get a good read on the person.
"I'm here....to make you see things differently. You see, things happen in the future between you and some people you know. I'm here to make sure you see things clearly after that." The triangle told him.
"So your kinda...from the future?" Rigby wondered aloud.
"Yes.....you could say that. But let's hear more about you, dark eyes!" The triangle disappeared and then reappeared next to Rigby, his arm around Rigby's shoulders.
"I have a best friend, Mordecai. He's a really cool dude." Rigby shrugged, not knowing what to say. The triangle hummed for a moment before the dream started to fade.
Rigby woke up with a gasp. That had been such a weird dream, and he didn't know what to think about it. Obviously he wasn't going to tell anyone about it, but he still didn't know what to think.
"Dude, you okay?" Mordecai came over to Rigby, concerned.
"Uh...yeah, I'm good." Rigby replied, feeling like the biggest liar ever.
"Oh, good See you later, dude." Mordecai started to walk out the door.
"Wait..what?" Rigby questioned, sitting up.
"Benson's making us work here at the moment, so I gotta go." Mordecai explained. Rigby let out a yelp of surprise, and jumped up, quickly getting ready. Mordecai had left already.
