I was surprised that Dipper had stood up to Benson like that, and honestly, had grown a new respect for the guy. He was smart, witty, and a overall good guy. Boy, gosh do I need more people like that in my life. Thinking about that made me think of Mordecai. I still felt a little hurt about his dismissal of me earlier. I mean, we've been best friends since like..forever, and he ditches me like that....

As Dipper turned to leave, he shot Benson a little bit of a softer look, and went inside. I noticed it was starting to get dark. I hoped we could get inside soon, because I was about ready to fall asleep on my feet. Mabel turned to bid her brother goodbye, and then turned back to the others and I.
"Alright, let's get you guys inside." Mabel exclaimed, glancing at our odd looking group fondly and kindly. I smiled, and was very happy to just follow her as she led the way to our room.
