when i sat down i saw who pushed me to the back it was river himself and let me tell me you it turned heads and i got a couple glares from some of the girls in class i tried my best not to look at them i was about to say something to river when Mr. Johnson interrupted.

"late again mr ashton im starting to believe being late is your specialty"

"well sir i believe talking a lot is your specialty im not starting to believe it either i know it"

the entire class burst into laughter and then everyone became quiety when mr. Johnson yelled at everyone to "shut up" and then turn to tell river " detention this afternoon"

i looked at river trying to understand why im back here and not in my seat when he looked at me and sat down smiling....

"so babe whats popping"

he just looked at me smiling like nothing was wrong with me sitting here talking to him and would make it even worse if someone heard him call me "babe".

"aren't you afraid people seeing you talking to me"

"first off i don't care who sees cause i don't care what people think or say and im allowed to sit with my girlfriend aren't i"

now im just sitting there trying to take in what i just heard did he just say 'girlfriend' i heard right.....right.....

"what did you just call me"

"my girlfriend"

"and who said im your girlfriend exactly"

"well when we kissed in that class that said it all"

"um no it didn't"

he was about to say answer me when the teacher interrupted us

"would you guys like to share your conversation with the class since its so interesting"

and river stand from his seat catching me off-guard and said

"well im just telling my girlfriend how much i liked the kiss we had a couple minutes before we got here"

now im sitting there dumbfounded face red like tomatoes while whole class looked at us in disbelieve while river just smirked at the teacher infront the class and getting me a detention too in the process and like god knew he had to save me the bell rong signaling class was over.
