And so, for the next few weeks, Harry, Ron, Hermione and I all went to the library three or four times a week. It was pretty boring, and we didn't seem to be getting any closer to figuring out who Nicolas Flamel is.

Until Hermione realized we were looking in the wrong section.

Harry, Ron, and I were all sitting at a table in the library skimming through books until Hermione walked over.

"How could I have been so stupid?!"

She slammed a large book onto the table and I didn't budge. In fact, I wasn't even paying attention, which was weird...

"I had you looking in the wrong section!"

Harry, Ron, and I all exchanged glances before we looked towards the book Hermione was holding.

As she flipped through the pages she said "I took this out of the library weeks ago for a bit of light reading."

Ron stared at her then the book then back at her in shock.

"That's light reading?!"

Hermione glared at him before looking flown and flipping through the pages again.

She finally reached a page.

After looking around she whispered "It says here that Nicolas Flamel is the only known maker of the Philosopher's stone!"

Ron and Harry looked at each other in confusion then back at Hermione. Ron whispered "What's that?"

I rolled my eyes at them and Hermione sighed.

"Honestly, do the two of you even read?"

Ron glared at her and, forgetting to lower his voice, said "Of course I do!"

Some people looked over at us and I sighed, glaring at Ron. He sheepishly smiled.

I face palmed. Once everyone went back to what they were doing Hermione continued.

"The Philosopher's Stone gives you immortality..."

We all looked at each other in thought.

Finally I said "Who do you think would want endless immortality?"

I already knew Voldemort would want it since he's here, but I couldn't tell them. It was for their on safety. Harry's mostly... After all, he IS the one that has Voldemort after him...

"Taylor?"

I looked over at Ron and raised an eyebrow.

He sighed in relief. "Finally, you responded! You've been zoning out for about five minutes."

Harry nodded. "Why do you do that so much?"

I shrugged. "Just... A lot on my mind I guess.

The boys shrugged it off while Hermione stared at me. She waved a hand in front my eyes.

"Taylor?"

"Taylor??"

"Taylor!"

I blinked twice and raised an eyebrow. "Oh. Hey. Hermione. What's up?"

She sighed. "What's been up with you lately?"

I shrugged. "I'm just... Thinking a lot more, I guess.."

Hermione raised an eyebrow. "Have you been getting sleep?"

I nodded. "I always get enough sleep."

She sighs and says "Alright, well, we should probably get back to the dorm soon."

Ron closed his book while whisper yelling "Finally!"

Harry slapped Ron's arm with the back of his hand.

Hermione chuckled while I tapped my feet on the ground while packing up my bag.

I stood up and stretched before putting on my bag. Ron was the second to stand up.

"Let's get some food, I'm starving."

I sighed. "You're always starving, Ron."

He thought for a moment. "Oh yeah."

Hermione face palmed and stood up, along with Harry.

"Let's go drop our stuff off at the tower first." As Hermione said that she looked at Harry, Ron, and I.

We all nodded.

~~~~~~~~~~
As we sat in the great hall, I couldn't stop thinking about the Philosopher's Stone.
If Voldemort wants it so bad, why doesn't he just steal it in the middle of the night?
I sighed. Stop thinking that way Taylor. It makes you seem like a thief or something...
Hermione nudged me and motioned towards my plate with her head.
I nodded and smiled at her before finally I stopped thinking and ate.
(A/N I'm such a crappy updater ;-; but good news my friend gave me some ideas and I have something planned out-
What do you guys think all those zone outs and all those times she just wasn't paying attention means? And I swear next chapter will be longer, I just lost ideas for this chapter-)
