Thomas and the thousand paper cranes

Warning: This story is a very sad one...It will definitely make you cry after you read this story.

Thomas, Percy, Edward, James , Emily and Gordon were a family living in Tidmouth sheds, they live very close to where the black bomb from Chuggington had hit. That tragic day one year ago had occurred in August during a Summer festival.

Thomas, Percy. Edward, James, Emily and Gordon went to that summer festival and Edward's funnel got hit and the bomb blew Thomas to the ground. James had to get his wheels fixed because of that terrible bomb.

One morning Thomas was so excited to go to the summer festival, he had been counting down for ages.

" I'm ready to go to the festival now, Emily." said Thomas.

" You didn't say Thank you for the meal and you only finished the grilled Salmon and rice, but not your miso soup." said Emily.

" Oh, Itadakimasu Gordon and Emily."
Answered Thomas

Thomas wanted to eat faster so he could get to the festival earlier than anyone else.

" I'm ready for the festival." hurried Thomas

" Thomas the tank engine, you must not call today a summer festival." said Gordon, " It was the day of the summer festival but the bomb dropped near our shed, so today is the Memorial Day. "

Said Gordon

" I'll race you Thomas." dashed James

" I'll beat you James." answered Thomas.

" Not so fast Thomas and James, Percy and Edward haven't finished Breakfast yet, we don't leave until ten thirty this morning." said Emily.

After everyone finished breakfast, they went over to Vicarstown park for the ceremonies.

" I can't wait for Toffee apples and cotton candy." said Percy

" Can I please have one?, I have ten dollars in the drivers cab" asked Thomas

" No Thomas, don't eat any apple." said Percy looking serious.

The ceremonies begun, Buddhist priests lit candles and began the prayers and speeches from Buddhists

" Today is the Memorial Day of the bombing at the summer festival, today we remember the people who have died and we support those who are injured and be with the ones who are sick, and bless everyone."

After the prayers and speeches, Thomas and Percy raced to the stalls

Thomas went to the bake sale and Percy went to the sweets stall.

When they came back, Thomas had blue cupcakes, and Percy had two buckets of cotton candy...

The whole family shared the treats and Thomas loved the blue cupcakes and cotton candy.

The Blue cupcakes tasted great, but there was black dust inside the cake

Thomas coughed out the black dust and everyone was looking at him surprised.....

" Oh my goodness, Thomas you're coughing up black dust." worried Emily

The black dust Thomas was coughing up was the bomb ashes from last year, even dangerous, he swallowed up the ashes.

Gordon saw Thomas on the floor, he couldn't breathe, he didn't open his eyes. Quickly, the family went to Sodor catholic hospital..

The doctors X rayed Thomas's insides and they knew what was going on...

" Well Thomas has ummm.. I'm very sorry about the sad news Gordon and Emily... But Thomas has steam cancer." one of the doctors muttered

" Steam cancer?!!" freaked Thomas

" No!!!! Thomas, this can't be happening." cried Emily

Everyone cried and cried

" We'll visit you every week." promised James

Later Thomas met a kind young lady with a black headdress with a little bit of white, you couldn't see her hair, but she was very kind.

" This is your nurse, Sister Anne." said Dr Kerry

" Hello Thomas, I'm Sister Anne." she said kindly

" Hello Sister." replied Thomas

Thomas wishes he wasn't in the hospital, if Ashima hears about this she will be very upset to know the fact that he has cancer.

" Do I really have steam cancer.?" asked Thomas looking very worried

" Well yes, but we can all protect you my beautiful Thomas." said Sister Anne, stroking his funnel.

Back at Tidmouth sheds, Ashima went to visit Emily and Gordon.

" What!! Thomas has steam cancer, oh please don't let this happen." Ashima burst into tears

" Don't worry Ashima, Thomas will get better and the hospital will take care of him." replied Emily

Thomas loved Sister Anne, she was very kind to him and she is a part timer as a nun at Sodor cathedral in Vicarstown.
