The door slides to the side as I walk into Hisoka's hospital room, holding a cup of coffee, "Ah, you're back already."
I give him the cold plastic cup. "Your favourite," I smiled.
"Tastes great, Illumi."

The chimes jangled as I opened the café door. A bittersweet smelled filled the room as customers talked to eachother and baristas asked for their orders. I was 15 minutes early.
I was standing in line, texting and asking Hisoka what his favourite coffee was. He answered with a simple 'idk'.
"Excuse me! Next please!" A barista signalled to me. Oh shit, what do I order for him. What would Hisoka like?
"I'd like a medium dark roast coffee and uh," my eyes scanned the drink menu, "a large strawberry and cream frappuccino."
"That'll be thirteen dollars and fifty cents," I swiped my debit card, and pressed my pin, paying for our drinks.
I quickly recieved the beverages and seated down at the two person table, waiting patiently for Hisoka.
A couple minutes pass and I hear the chimes shake, making noise, "Illumi!" I looked up, and there the was waving to me energetically.
He skipped his way to me like a child on sugar rush.
"Did you wait long?" He asked me, sitting down in the chair across from me.
"You're actually," I checked my watch, "right on time."
"Man, I even woke up early to try to beat you here." Hisoka whined.
I handed him the strawberry drink I ordered for him, "I just picked out whatever I thought you might like," my palms were sweating like a waterfall.
His eyes sparkled, "You bought this for me?" He stood up from his chair, and tackled me with a hug. My face turned tomato red.
"Hisoka! Not right here!" I pushed him off me. We were drawing attention from customers. Some even laughing.
"Sorry!" No he wasn't, "It's just that means you had to think about what I liked." His eyes were still twinkling. He took the drink aggressively and chugged it.
"Woah Hisoka calm down."
"Illumi."
"Yeah?"
"It's actually really good."

"Illumi, can I try your dark roast coffee?"
"All the times you've tried it, you never liked it."
"Please?" He begged me with the same sparkly puppy eyes.
"Fine, fine." I passed him my warm mug of bitter coffee. He took a sip and immediately made a face of disgust.
"I really don't know how you drink this."
