"You're still wearing that ring? Why not get a new one?" Hisoka asked me while pointing at the small diamond ring on my finger.
"But it's special to me," I fidgeted the ring.
"Oh alright," and he leaned into me. Placing a kiss on my lips.

"Hold on Illumi, I have to get something for my mom!" And he ran into a small jewelry store. We were shopping together today. He requested and due to our bet, I had to go. After her left to get a gift for his mom I was standing outside the store waiting for Hisoka to be done with his purchase.
A couple minutes pass and Hisoka walks out with a little baggie with a small bow on it.
"So what did you get?" I asked.
"Just a ring," not thinking much of it, we moved on and we continued shopping.
Soon, our little hangout came to an end. Hisoka drove me home.
Walking to the entrance and he pulls my shoulder, quickly leaning in and kissed me.
"Goodnight baby," he winked. He handed me a small box with a sticky note on it, Hisoka walked back to his car and drove away.
I was still standing outside my house minutes after Hisoka left. I was frozen, my face was tomato red. My heart, racing.
I looked at the sticky note and it read 'I like you too'.
"How did he even-" I cut myself off. My opened the box and there was a diamond ring. My eyes lit up, it sparkled in every angle. "Pretty," I said as I slid it on my finger, my face stil blushing.

After that day, we officially started dating, and we even got matching rings. My heart never raced so fast before.
