My Poem Compilation *Completed*

Preface

This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, business, places, events, locales, and incidents are either the products of the author's imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to actual person, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental.

I write this book for the entertainment of many whom I have known and for all of those who will read the book. I created this work when I started to back up my copy of poems so that it would never be lost.

I started writing poems from when I was in class 6, i.e. in 2015. I have come a long way since then but still I like writing sad or emotional poems. I hope that one day I could write really emotional poems, that anyone who reads that poem cannot sit without crying or at least have a spark of sadness inside them.

Earlier I wrote stories but they would just go on. It was like they had their own minds and grow every night. Then my best friend told me that we could write poem. I told her that it was not easy as it sounds to write poem. I knew then that writing poem was hard. However, she told me to at least try. Then she had an idea and told me that we could write in a competition and then show it to our English Teacher. Our teacher was surprised when he read our poems and asked us if we had copied from somewhere. We said no. After writing that first poem, I realized that poems came to me naturally. That is when I started writing poems. I still regret that my first poem is lost and could not write it in this collection. The funny enough I never liked to read poems of any other authors.

I hope you all will like and enjoy this book.

I will like to thank my parents, mostly my mother, to encourage me to write poems. In addition, I will like to thank my special friend without whom I would have never started writing poems.
