Tweep!

"Sagi, try to be quiet, would you?"

"Who're you talking to young lady?" The cab driver had been very annoying, Persephone reminded herself to file a complaint to the company later, because this guy was seriously being intrusive. And although Persephone had no recollection of the journey over to where-ever she'd been abducted to, she clearly remembered the way back to the orphanage since they had returned to the city of Yakima almost 10 minutes ago.

There was a map once shown inside the old school, that showed the whole city, from then on, she'd remembered exactly where everything was, and currently, the driver was taking every single wrong turn, and now they were almost going to cross into the next city.

"Oh, I'm just talking to my 'not at all nosy', 'friendly', 'focused' cab driver. Who has every intent of taking me back to my home"

"Why thank you for the complim-" The driver paused for a while, actually registering what had been said. "WAIT WHAT!?"

Persephone smirked, and flicked her hair back, clearly this was why this guy ended up as just a cab driver.

"Unless you haven't noticed, we're going the completely wrong way the orphanage is all the way up there," she indicated towards the GPS on the car. "Turn back, and if your so ignorant as to not know how to get there, I'll tell you where to-"

As usual with most of the unintelligent people, the Levi (she could tell that was his name from the 'Hi! My Name's: Levi' Label hanging on the rear-view mirror) had decided to just pump up the Heavy Metal rock music, and blocked out the rest of Persephone's enriching words, while at the same time, completely melting her hearing with all of the senseless screaming, and loud blares. Seriously? This guy was really ignoring her now?

"I'll call 911 if you don't stop this instant!" But still he ignored her, oh well, his loss, this had now become harassment. But when she punched in the numbers, all she got was the tone, she tried again and again, but damn, no signal. She could always jump out, but then surely with the speed the Mercedes was going at, she'd break almost all bones. As if the guy could read her mind, the doors clicked locked.

By the time they'd gotten back to the Dark Gateway Orphanage, it was far past midnight, and the driver was the only one to blame.

"Now, for my payment?" Levi had parked the cab as well, it seemed he wanted some fresh air.

"You're not getting anything. Because I've figured you out, you're not a real taxi driver!" Persephone pointed the finger at him, accusing him. All of a sudden, his face softened, and seemed nervous. Of course he would be, who shouldn't be afraid to the prospect of being charged with fraud?

"It was quite obvious really, in the lousy way that your taxi had been painted, the fact that there was no actual meter on the side, and how the flimsy 'taxi' sign swayed in the gentle breeze. So no, I won't pay you anything, and all you're going to get from this, is a court trial, where you'll be charged with fraud!" She grinned smugly, see, she helped society, by doing things like this, protecting the people, and studied hard. So that she could give back for everything this city had given her.

"WAIT!" Persephone turned, what did he want now?

"Your right, I'm not actually a professional taxi driver, and I'm sorry I tried to take your money, you see, I'm not as successful as my sister, Evelyn. And well, I thought I could take just a tiny bit to put food on my table tonight." He exhaled. "As for the orphanage it's no more, a few nights ago, it was destroyed by those wretched, meddling Dyarknessla-" Levi's voice became venous all of a sudden, before catching himself, and covering everything up by saying it was a terrible fire.
