boreum woke up to the sound of birds chirping and tree leaves rustling. it was the summer holidays and she had a one month school break in the little countryside she called home.
she finished her morning chores and went outside. as usual, she went to the grass slope a small distance from her house and lay there for however long she liked. she thought about many things; but as usual, the main topic would be love. face towards the sky, she spoke, "yujun brother, did you ever love someone? can you give me advice? i'm... lost." she desparately looked up hoping for an answer, but she knew there wasn't any. he wasn't actually there with her.
as he walked by the dirt road, dongkyu saw boreum looking up at the sky again. he approached her planning to say hi, but paused. tears were brimming the corner of her eyes. he quietly lay next to her, in case a she needed was someone to stay with her. "we can talk whenever you want. i'll be here for you, boreum."
boreum sniffed, holding in her tears. she was not the type to look vulnerable. with a shaky voice, she told dongkyu, "uhm, please don't leave. stay with me for now."
