KOTLC One Shot Contest! (NOT ACCEPTING CONTESTANTS)

Welcome/Rules!

CLOSED FOR CONTESTANTS! Also part of this system was slightly messed up, as we had one last minute joiner :)

Welcome to our very first KOTLC One Shot War!

Now let's get right into rules, directions, and how everything works :)

How does it work?

We will be accepting a total of FIFTEEN CONTESTANTS! (More on signing up later!)

THE FIRST WEDNESDAY, I will release a prompt that you will base your one shot on! This could be anything from a song, to a ship, to even the vaguest word or idea! You will be given ONE WEEK (will be due the following Tuesday at 10:00 Pacific Time (would recommend submitting the day before)) to submit your one shot, (more on submitting later!)

After judging all the one shots, I will release the results and next promptly on Wednesday! You will once again get until the following Tuesday to write!

As there will be fifteen contestants, and two eliminated each time, our final round will be when there are THREE COMPETITORS LEFT, or after six rounds. From there, I will simply straight out announce the winner :)

What are the results?

Each week, I will write small comments on all contestants one shots! I will also be choosing MY TWO FAVORITE one shots of the round! If you are chosen as my favorite, you are SAFE FROM ELIMINATION that round, AS WELL AS THE FOLLOWING ROUND! The "safe from elimination next round if your a favorite" will stop once we get to the top seven, so after four rounds!

Sadly, each round I will also be eliminating two people every week as well. You are still allowed to participate in the one shots if you wish! (More on this system next chapter!) 

How do I submit?

Create a new book titled "KOTLC One Shot Contest!" If you already have a book titled this, as we are aware of other One Shot wars out there, you can name it "KOTLC Community One Shot War" or something else like that.

For each prompt, create a new chapter and tag me! Please also comment the link or name of your book once I reply accepted to your form! I will add it to the reading list :)

The password is your favorite song, or one you recommend!

Rules:

1. Please follow all the directions!

2. Be considerate of others!

3. Be a good sport! Please no hate if you are eliminated. That doesn't mean you aren't talented! That just means there's room to grow. Remember: this is just all for fun!

4. No mature content please :) Kissing is fine, but no smut or cursing please! Minor violence allowed as well.

5. Please follow this account for updates and add this book to your reading list!  Please also make an announcement advertising this contest :)
