The Plague (Nct & Male Reader)

05.

Jaemin's P.O.V:
     The rest of the classes went on as usual with teachers looking like criminals and teaching the class with a tense aura.

     During the last two subjects, we had the famous teachers Chenle and Jisung were talking about. At first we thought that they were very strict and ignorant but they were very friendly and told us to introduce ourselves unlike the other teachers who looked at us like we were a joke.

     When the school bell rang, the four of us packed our things and were about to go find the other two when Mr.Seo called them.

"Could you please follow me to the teachers office? Don't worry, Mr.Jung brought Chenle and Jisung as well.": he said and we see the two outside of the class waiting for us.

     Following the two teachers, we soon arrived at the teachers room. It looked nothing like the ones in the city as this one just had ceiling fans and barely any bright light.

"Before you arrived, we have already received a message informing us to keep an eye on the 6 of you since we are the only trustable ones.": Mr.Jung said implied the word trustable.

"If you feel threatened or are harmed in any way by the students or teachers please inform us.": Mr.Seo continued.

"What if the student is trying to kill you by just looking you?": I heard Haechan mumble quietly.

"What?": Mr.Jung asked, making Haechan flustered before shaking his head.

"Nothing sir...": he quickly said.

"Well, its best if you don't interact with anyone outside of the school compound as they are highly dangerous criminals": Mr.Seo warned and all of us nodded.

"Thats all we want to say, you can go back to your dorms now.": he said and we all obeyed, heading back to our dorms.

     There is only one bathroom so we took turns to shower and ate dinner that was cooked by the school's cook which surprisingly taste decent despite its looks.

     I sat on my bed and made myself comfortable before grabbing out a thick medical book and did some revisions since midyear exams were coming up and I didn't want to fail again. While I was reading, the words (M/N) said to me suddenly came to mind. What did he meant by that he was once a good boy and wasted his time? He didn't seem like a dangerous person so what exactly did he do that he ended up here?

     Quickly shaking away the thoughts, I read and read while taking notes like there was no tomorrow, not noticing that it was already midnight.

     All the others had fallen asleep except for Haechan who is busy playing some games on his phone. I was about to tell him to go to sleep so that he doesn't wake up late tomorrow but a sudden loud scream made me pause. Haechan seemed to have heard it too when he looked at me.

"What was that?": I whispered, not wanting to wake the others up.

"I don't know, probably just some wild animal or something.": he replied.

"But it sounded so human like.": I said.

"This forest is surrounded by a forest that contains a lot of weird creatures Jaemin, relax": he said and continued playing.

I sighed and agreed. "Yeah, you're probably right, goodnight then.": I said and decided to go to sleep. 

Next Morning: Haechan's P.O.V
     Waking up to the alarm that Jaemin has set, we took turns and eventually got ready for school.

     After walking Chenle and Jisung to their classes since they didn't feel safe, we managed to make it to our class just in time before the teacher came in.
