The Plague (Nct & Male Reader)

Prologue.

     After the first day of school, Jaemin had got to meet up with his friends after the long holidays. He was walking down the street under the sun that warms his skin. It was one of those baby-blue skies, not the washed out grey so characteristic of hot afternoons.

     He had his headphones on, listening to some music to block out the bustling car noises. A few text message popped up in his phone and it was his group chat that contained his five friends, all telling him to turn around and so he did.

     There he saw the five of them, smiling and waving to him, telling him to walk over.

"Hey Jaemin, do you wanna come with us to the cyber cafe?": Chenle asked with excitement.

"Sure!": he said and all of them started walking along the peaceful busy streets of the city without a care in the world.

On the other side of the world:

"Get back here and fight me you punks!": the man shouted and attempted to shoot the two boys who were jumping from roof to roof of old houses.

"Better luck next time old man!": (Y/N) said and ran off.

     Stopping and sitting at the edge of a roof when their chaser lost track of them, they just panted for a while before looking at each other and laughed.

"Did you get it?": the boy with the blue hair asked, slightly out of breath.

"Yup.": he replied and held out a small pink coin purse with a smirk on his face.

"Great now lets go before he finds us and blows our head off.": he said and they both got up and climbed down, slipping into the opened window where they saw a little girl crying beside her sick mother's bed.

"Here ya go little girl.": the boy with blue hair handed the girl the small purse and ruffled her hair.

"Thank you mister!": she thanked her before the two jumped out the window.

"Man. I'm bored. What should we do?": (Y/N) asked.

"Hmmm... our neighbour Matt has been pretty loud lately, shooting people like a maniac. Can we go take care of him so that everybody can sleep peacefully?": he asked, making the other grin.

"Sure. I'll race you there.": he challenged and they both bolted off into the sunset.
