As the night was coming to an end the cafe had very less customers because it was closing time. "Alright hannah" i said to my very close friend and co-worker who also works with me. "I am gonna head to lisa's to get her and can you please close up, i am exhausted and i can't be late?" I asked in hopes she says yes and thats what she said. As i got my things and was ready to leave hannah calls out for me. "y/n you really love her alot" she said referring to rose, "yes han i do alot, now if you let me go to get her that'd be great you she hates when i am late" i say pouting. "Oh alright go love you goodnight" she wished "you too" i whispered and walked out. I didn't have a car so i just walked to my destination. As i walked i thought to myself: why am i so unhappy? Why can't i find someone who would love me and not judge me for rose? I really wished things would've gone different. But they did just in a matter of minutes.
I cleared my mind of these thoughts and realized that i am here. "Hey lisa i can't thank you enough for taking her today! Was she ok or cranky or anything?" I asked worried. "Nah she was an angel like always and its ok i can take her anytime, y/n you are a really hardworking mother i mean juggling two jobs AND dealing with a toddler and past trauma on top of that you are truly a hero" she exaggerated and i felt good hearing those words. She is right but its only for my baby rose, if it weren't for her i would've given up a long time ago. I left with rose in my arms as she was almost asleep. I was walking back home and here came the worst part, the dark alley. and as i'm about to walk through it i noticed a black silhouette of a tall man boyish figure right behind me so i picked up my pace as my heart quickened. Rose was asleep by now and he was still behind me. It was a really long alley but when i was about to leave he caught up and slammed me against the wall and pointed a gun at me.
