Najma
This is not just a story about a girl.

It is the story of Najma Bukar Kachallah an eighteeen year old girl with a quiet fire in her heart and a dream so vivid, she could almost touch it. She wanted to become an architect. She wanted to shape the world around her. And most of all, she wanted to make her father proud.

Her father was her anchor. Her cheerleader. Her safe place.

But dreams can shatter in an instant.

When Najma's father suddenly passes away, everything begins to unravel. Her dreams blur. Her faith is tested. Grief settles in, heavy and cold. In a house full of voices, Najma feels more alone than ever.

And just when she thinks the world has forgotten her, someone sees her. Muhammad.

Kind. Patient. Unexpected.

He becomes a flicker of light in her darkness. But with that light comes new questions, new emotions, and a love she never saw coming. Is it too soon to open her heart again? Will love heal her, or break her even further?

And most of all will destiny allow them to stay together, or tear them apart before they even begin?

This is a story of loss, love, faith, and becoming.
A story of a girl finding herself when everything else is falling apart.

Before we begin, meet Najma's family(siblings):

Author's Note

Dear readers,
Before we begin, I wanted to let you know that this is the edited version of the very first story I ever published. I originally wrote Najma in 2020 when I was just 12 years old, and while the storyline remains the same, but there's going to be a lot of changes. I've come back to it with more experience. I hope you guys enjoy this story as much as I loved rewriting it.💗

Thank you to everyone who supported the original version it means the world to me. And to new readers, welcome. I hope this version resonates with you even more.

Your support, encouragement, and feedback continue to inspire me as I grow as a writer.

With love,
Heshma
