Chapter Five – Epilogue.
Molly's P.O.V.
"Any chance of an autograph, Miss Thompson?" Someone called out, as I reached the front door to my house
"Sorry, I'm a bit busy! Could you....." I started to reply, before turning around. "Doctor?"
"Molly."
"2 years!" I smirked, walking over to him.
"2 months for me! How have you been?" He asked, moving towards me.
"I've been good! 2 years is a long time to get better! How have you been in 2 months?" I laughed, stopping in front of him.
"A lot better knowing you took my advice and stayed alive!" He chuckled.
"It was good advice. Oh, come here you!" I smiled, before pulling him into a hug.
"I'm glad you made the right choice! You've made a good life out of this!" He said into my shoulder.
"Yeah, shut up! Got a book deal soon after you left! Turns out bad things can bring out the good sometimes." I replied, pulling away from him.
"They always do. So the book? Sounds like it has a very good main character! Based on anybody we know?" He asked, holding up a copy of my book.
"Doctor. It's called Space Man Saviour. It's about an alien, who travels in a space and saves a girl called Millie from death! Who do you think it's based on?" I laughed, pointing to the cover of the book.
"Me?"
"Got it in one! Doctor, you said it said been two months for you. But it's been two years for me. How?" I asked, rather confused.
"As I told you last time, it's a space and time machine. The TARDIS, it travels in time too!" He said, pointing back to his machine.
"Of course it does! Makes sense really."
"Does it? Never normally does to anybody!" He smiled.
"Well you don't look any older for a start! I'm glad you came back Doctor."
"Me? I always come back!" He said.
"I know. It just normally takes you a while! Like with Amy." I replied, softly while holding his arm.
"Yeah. Amy." He whispered, looking down.
"Oh Doctor. I'm sorry. Have you not found anybody to travel with in two months?" I asked, pulling him into another hug.
"No. Just me. On my own in the TARDIS. Like it should be"
"No it shouldn't be! I saw how lonely you were, when you were alone. Please find somebody. Anybody." I smiled, pulling away from his hug.
"I don't need anybody." He lied, holding onto my arms.
"Yes. Yes you do. Get somebody to travel with you. For me?" I pleaded, pouting.
"Fine! I'll try." He sighed, giving a small laugh. The TARDIS behind him started to make whooshing noises, as if to say 'it's time'
"TARDIS saying it's time to go?" I asked, feeling slightly disappointed he had to leave so soon.
"Yeah. Afraid so."
"She's like your wife!" I laughed, earning another noise from the TARDIS.
"She is, in a way really! Yeah, that noise is telling the engines are ready to fly properly now." He explained, pointing back to the machine.
