Christi was charged with first degree murder, and was sentenced to life without parole. Chloe was devastated that someone that she loved was capable of taking away the life of her best friend.

Chloe and Clara moved in with their father and his girlfriend, Maxine, in Florida. It wasn't the mansion that they were used to, but it still was a place to call home.

In an attempt to start their once pleasant lives over, the Ziegler family moved out of Pittsburgh and into one of the nice suburbs of California, making sure they knew no one there. The loss of their oldest daughter was too much. They couldn't handle walking past her door, knowing that she would never slam it again. It took Mackenzie a while to climb out of the pit of depression she had fell into, but she knew Maddie hated being sad. Maddie was all about living, taking risks and having fun. She would never want her sister to be depressed.

Ashley could never get over this case. How a mother could take away another mother's child was beyond her comprehension. Some people were just crazy, and someday she'd have to accept that.

Every second to last Friday of the month, to commemorate to the night of Maddie's disappearance, Franklin Regional High school holds a memorial that remembers Maddie and her life, how she was on the top of her class, made many friends and helped the community. She was fifteen year old girl. She was a fifteen year old girl who is now gone.

But she also is a fifteen year old girl who will never be forgetten.

woo the ending!! this story was really fun to write and i haven't felt this excited to write a story in a long time. hoped you guys liked the ending bc i'm really iffy about it. anyways i might have another crime story with the same detectives and dance moms girls, but this story would be completely unrelated if i do decide to do another story.
