Love Begins

Athena
was like any normal adult,
barely hitting the age of twenty-one.
She's not even half way through college and already has her life planned out, but what she doesn't know that all that is about to change. What she wants in life is going to be turned upside down!

It's a calm Saturday night and Athena decides to stay home and chill out with some wine, pizza, and classical romance movies. All her friends are out partying waisting their lives away, and the beautiful Athena is way to smarter than them to know better.

Her friends want to meet the perfect man and "live happily ever after"mocks Athena "it's all a bunch of baloney" she tells herself. She's trying to reassure herself that true love is just in fairy tales! Currently while examining the topic of love she realizes she never picked up the pizza! "Shoot, the pizza!" Athena quietly curses
herself. She quickly grabs her keys and rushes out the door.

While she's driving to the nearby pizzeria in the pouring rain her car starts making funny noises and begins to slow. "Oh dear!" Says Athena. She gets out to check out the complicated engine under the hood, which at the point is now smoking.

She's looking under the hood and get a weird feeling that she's being watched. She is being drenched by the rain and is getting cold. Not long after that she starts shivering and doesn't know what to do about her car.

She left her phone at home so she couldn't contact anyone, plus the streets were empty. "Well that's odd" she thought, "where is everyone?" A breeze hits her when she's just about to get in her car and her teeth start to chatter.

As she's walking to her door a warm arm is snaked around her waist and she is pulled so fast she's surprised it didn't give her whiplash. But that isn't what matters right now because she is faced to face with the most beautiful man on Earth! He has Icy blue eyes that could look deep through your soul, perfect plump cherry lips and a virile chiseled jaw.

"This man is Perfect" she thought, but she found it weird that he was holding her so close that they were mere inches away.

The next thing took her by surprise as his lips fell upon hers. It wasn't any other kiss. No, this kiss was passionate and soft, leaving her wanting more.

As the beautiful stranger pulled away she couldn't help but move closer. "Athens" he says," "what" says Athena. "My name is Athens." He kisses her one last time and then in just a blink of an eye he's gone.

Athena finds a way home to shortly after and hours later she lies in her bed thinking about the mysterious man that goes by the name Athens.
She can't help but let her mind wonder back on there passionate kiss.

When he kissed her it wasn't just passion it was more, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it. As she lies in bed thinking about Athens her eyelids begin to get heavy and she falls into a peaceful slumber............
