"Uncle, we got Torin Wald and on our way to Iris." Briony takes the initiative to call and report to their Uncle since they were now working as a team under him.

If it was before they'll just have to take the fugitive to the bondsmen that hire them, and do some paperwork then wait for the bondsmen to transfer their payment to their bank account.

But now that they are working with their Uncle, they will report to him now and then. Their Uncle will do all the negotiation and paperwork with the bondsmen while they do the hunt and arrest.

"Okay, I'll meet you at Iris. I'll do the paperwork ahead of time." Lorcan replied.

Then after a while, he asks, "Is he injured?"

As a bounty hunter, there are some rules that they have to abide by, rules that the bondsmen formulated and are recognized by law enforcement.

They can use any techniques they are comfortable in hunting and arresting fugitives as long as they will be delivered to the bondsmen safe and unharmed.

It may seem impossible to Bell not to injure her target since she is quite a fan of violence. There will always be casualties whenever she is on a hunt especially when there are a lot of busybodies hindering her from finishing her hunt as soon as possible.

Some fugitives find Bell's way of intimidating quite scary that it made them surrender as soon as her gaze landed on them ending up in them sent to the bondsmen in an unstable state of mind. But there were still fugitives who would still resist as if they could get away from a war god-like Bell. After all, criminals don't run from the law to get caught. But Bell has her own technique to knock out a fugitive uninjured but with them sent to the bondsmen through the compartment of Bell's car.

Brylee, on the other hand, is good at persuasion and sweet-talking. As a busybody herself, Brylee is good at finding information that she could use as leverage against fugitives. And most of the time, it works without needing to injure them. Though it may seem simple and harmless, Brylee would sometimes find herself driving back to the bondsmen with a handcuffed fugitive at the back seat trying to hit on her as if she would let any other man touch her.

Meanwhile, Briony and Brina were different. Briony can sometimes be reckless while Brina though smart and could be considered a genius is impulsive especially when Briony ends up being in trouble because of her recklessness. Without thinking too much, Brina would jump in to help Briony ending up with either of them or their target hurt or injured. But most of the time, it would be Briony and their target.

Briony could definitely heal herself. But in the case of the fugitive that is being injured, Brina would use her power to heal them with caution. The twins would make it look like the fugitive was not injured at all or that he was just hallucinating.

That is the moment that Brina would use her expert rationalization to convince that the fugitive was not injured. And she is successful all the time.

Briony chuckled. "Of course, he's not!" Then she looked at the back seat where Torin Wald is handcuffed between Bell and Brina. Then she looked at the grumpy-looking Bell.

Bell seems like she hasn't had enough of the violence as she had to pass all the gang men who attacked her to Bianca just to test her capabilities.

"That's impossible," Briony said in an almost inaudible voice. Why does she have a feeling that Bell would consume her violence to Torin Wald who is sitting beside her?

"Good," Lorcan replied with a hint of uncertainty.

"Uncle, are you sure that we should just leave the members of the Bedelia Gang as well as his wife behind?" Brylee who is on the wheels butted in.
