All this time (Oikawa x Reader)

Part two: Surprise

(y/n) had to get up earlier than they did yesterday, they grabbed their lunch and said goodbye. (y/n) hoped that they didn't see Oikawa yet, because it would mess up with their surprise.

"(y/n)!" a voice called out, (y/n) turned around to see onion head

"Onion Head" (y/n) said stopping and smiling

"I have a real name" he said chatting up with you

"Yea, but Kag's said this short boy called you Onion Head once" (y/) said as the two sarted to walk together

"Did he really tell you that" Onion head stuttered

"Well yea. He always told me about your guys games" (y/n) said with a smile

"Wait why are you up" Onion Head asked "And your going towards the school"

"I guess you'll see" (y/n) winked. The two talked continued walking and talking

After a while the two reached the gym, (y/n) opened the door too see everyone on the team except the two

"(Y/n)-chan what are you doing here" Oikawa asked, (y/n) smiled and reached to pat his head.

"Ahh you must be the new team manager" the coach said waking up to (y/n) the whole team seemed to stop and look at (y/n)

"Uhh yea, I'm (y/n)" they said looking at the ground

"Fantastic! Everyone, this is our new team manager. They will now come to all the practices and games" The coach called out "Now go on! Go practice!". (y/n) sighed and thought that went better than I expected.

After practice (y/n) grabbed their stuffed and started to head to calls when they heard their name being called. (y/n) turned around to see Oikawa,

"yes?" (y/n) asked slowing down

"What the hell (y/n)-chan" Oikawa said as he started to walk with them

"Huh?" what do you mean?" (y/n) said looking at Oikawa

"You're our team captain!" Oikawa yelled "What?!"

"I thought you'd think it's nice.." (y/n) siad looking at the ground

"Yea, but why didn't you tell me? Oikawa said with annoyed tone in his voice

"It was a SURPRISE," (Y/n) said rolling their eyes

"But you still could have said that" Oikawa looked at (y/n) and saw their annoyed face

"Fine, then screw off" (y/n) huffed

"(y/n)-chan...." Oikawa stopped and saw how annoyed (y/n) was getting "why don't I wait for you after class and walk you home today?" (y/n) could see that Oikawa was trying to be nice but they were so annoyed with him that they continued walking. By the time (y/n) reached class Oikawa had stopped following them

The last bell of the day just rang and (y/n) got up from their desk and said goodbye to their teacher. As they exited the classroom, (y/n) saw a Oikawa with a group of First year girls basically crawling on him. (y/n) noticed that Oikawa's facial expression was different. He normally loves attention but today it looks like he needed saving. Ughhhh fine. He's your best friend. You should do this for him (y/n) thought as they walked up to the group "Mister Oikawa what are you doing! Lets go. Practice starts soon". Oikawa seemed shocked as (y/n) grabbed his sleeve. They started walking away as the group of girls seemed like they would explode with anger.

"Thank you" Oikawa whispered

"Hush, we get to practice and you play. I mange" (y/n) said still dragging him

"Fine but I'm walking you home" Oikawa said (y/n) sighed and nodded. On the way the twoo grabbed onion head. All three of them arrived on time to practice. Thanks to (y/n).

It was dark out when practice ended. (y/n) personally thought it was a very successful practice. Onion head and (y/n) were talking while Oikawa glared at them from across the gym.

"I don't get it Iwa-chan" Oikawa said

"What loser" Iwa-chan asked

"Why do Kindaichi and (y/n) get along so well" Oikawa asked

"Weren't they friends last year along with Kageyama" Iwa-chan pointed out

"Yea but still" Oikawa said glaring at the two "It doesn't sit right"

"Whatever you're just jealous of them," Iwa-chan pointed out. Oikawa never thought of it, he alway thought if he saw (y/n) with others he felt like a brother sense to protect them. Oikawa brushed off the feeling and smiled at (y/n) and went to get changed.

After practice (y/n) was waiting outside for Oikawa, when Onion head walked out. (y/n) looked up and waved

"Wait (y/n) I had something to ask you" onion head said walking up to (y/n)

"Whats up" (y/n) said

"So the team does something every weekend and this weekend we're going to an arcade if you wanna join"

"Kinda like in Middle School" (y/n) chuckled "But yea i'd love to go" Onion head smiled and waved goodbye right as Oikawa walked out and the two started walking

When Oikawa and (y/n) reached (y/n)' house they hugged goodbye. As (y/n) stared walking towards the house and Oikawa started his was when (y/n) stopped and called out "Oikawa"

"Yes (y/n)-chan" Oikawa stopped

"I can't wait to go to the arcade with the team" (y/n) smiled. Oikawa started walking towards (y/n) confused how they knew about the team activities. He was planning to surprise (y/n) tomorrow morning.

"Who told you" Oikawa asked

"Onion head..why?" (y/n) asked , they were surprised by his reaction

"Ughhh" Oikawa groaned "Whatever, i'll pick you up tomorrow moring" he said walking away. Jeez what's up with him. Whatever i just wanna finish my work and sleep (y/n) thought said opening their door to their house.
