All this time (Oikawa x Reader)

Part 1: First Day

As (y/n) struggled to put on their second shoe they heard their mother calling to them.

"Y/n you're going to be late"

"Mom, I'm coming" (y/n) yelled back, finally slipped on their shoe, and ran down the stairs into their parent's bakery. You see (y/n)'s parents owned a bakery, so the apartment was on the second floor while the bakery was on the first floor.

"I'm leaving" (y/n) called out grabbing their bag on the way out.

"Wait!" (y/n)'s mom called out and handed her some fresh milk bread "here give this to Tōru". (y/n)'s rolled their eyes and grabbed the bread.

After some time of walking (y/n) finally reached Aoba Johsai High. They walked around a bit before their eyes were covered.

"Guess who (y/n)-chan" Oikawa chuckled

"Loserkawa can you stop flirting for ten seconds and help clean"

"Iwa-Chan is going to kick your ass" (y/n) giggled, removing Oikawa's hands and turning around to smile at him "Now go clean the gym and I'll give you a gift". Oikawa's eyes lit up as he turned to go help Iwa-chan.

After some time Oikawa came back to (y/n) waiting "What do you have this time?"

"Close your eyes" (y/n) said as they unzipped their bag and started pulling out the milk bread. Oikawa's eyes were tightly shut as (y/n) placed the bread in his pocket "ok open your eyes". Oikawa opened his eyes and grabbed the milk bread out of his pocket. His eyes lit up and he started to smile, he always had the same reaction every time (y/n) gave him milk bread. Ever since (y/n) and Oikawa were children Oikawa's favorite thing was milk bread. (y/n) smiled "you look the same as you did when you were young"

"Oh hush" Oikawa said already eating the bread "Now now I shall walk you to class on your first day"

"No. no it's fine I'll text Kag's..he's here right?" (y/n) said looking up from their phone

"nope. He left us so I shall walk you" Oikawa said "Now what's your schedule" he asked as (y/n) handed him a slip of paper. (y/n) watched as he studied it, they started to think why does he care so much...it's just because we are like family..right??

"Ok lets go" Oikawa said interrupting (y/n)'s thoughts and they both started walking towards the school

Everyone stared at the two of them walking down the hall. It made (y/n) uncomfortable, they knew he was popular..but not this popular. Finally they reached (y/n)'s class. (y/n) turned around and smiled "thank you kind sir"

"No problem" Oikawa chuckled (y/n) could see his cheeks were a bit pink but thought nothing of it and turned to walk into the classroom

"(y/n)-chan i'll walk you home today like we did in junior high" Oikawa

"Oh what, you're going to wait for me after class too?" (y/n) giggled

"Sadly not today, but i'l still walk you home after practice" Oikawa said while he gave a sly wink

"Fine. That means I have to go see you play. Bye now" (y/n) said waving goodbye and walking into class.

Oikawa's practice had just ended and (y/n) was standing outside waiting for him. They saw Onion head leave and waved goodbye, then came Iwa-chan who (y/n) also said bye too. Finally Oikawa appeared outside and (y/n) walked up and started walking with him.

"How was your first day" Oikawa asked

"It was fun, i need to find a culd though" (y/n) respond

"What about cooking club, so you can take the bakery from your mom"

"Mmh,maybe" (y/n) shrugged, they already knew what they wanted to do but it was a surprise for tomorrow morning. The two friends talked all the way home and at the end (y/n) hugged Oikawa goodbye and said they'd see him tomorrow.
