{Kenma's POV}
I woke up to feel that abnormal heat again, and when I opened my eyes, there he was. Holding me close once again. Sound asleep.

I sighed softly, looking up at Kuroo's peaceful face. "I know you'll never love me, but that's okay.. as long as I still have you, I'm okay with that.."

But he wasn't, it killed Kenma to be this close, to be like this and have it have no other meaning than just 'friendship'. Because that's all it was. Nothing more than friendship, it would never be anything more than that, since he was just an unlovable freak-

"Kitty? You okay?"

I was met with those hazel eyes once again, he was so close, inches away. The warmth from Kuroo's hand on my cheek was wonderful, but that wasn't the only warmth, as my face had heated up a bit itself.

"Oh.. u-uhm yeah, I'm okay Kuro.." I nodded, and without thinking, moved my hand up and placed it on Kuroo's.

After being lost in each other's eyes for a few minutes, I watched as Kuroo started getting closer, and as I was getting closer as well.

His eyes fell shut and mine did too, then I felt a pair of lips on mine, they were rough but not as much as I would've thought. They were sweet, tasting just like strawberries, it was like a dream..

..like a dream..

beep beep beep beep

"Come on Kitty~" Kuroo had whispered right by my ear. I felt shivers as my eyes shot open to see he was right in front of me, inches away.

"If you don't get up now, we'll be late."

So it was all just a dream, and to think, he could've loved me..

Me.. an unlovable freak..

{3rd POV}
After that dream, and his mother's words swirling in his head, Kenma couldn't help but feel useless, worthless, like a burden. He was wondering why he should stick around if he's just an unlovable freak. The thought caused great silence to Kenma, a silence that Kuroo finally questioned while they were on their walk to school. Of course, the setter just dismissed it as simple exhaustion and nothing more. Seeing as how so much had changed in a matter of days, Kuroo bought it and didn't push on. Well, didn't push on that subject. Throughout the rest of the walk to school, Kuroo pestered Kenma about even the smallest things. Usually this would bug him, but.. he made an exception for Kuroo. He always would.

As per their usual, once arriving at school, the two went their separate ways and planned to meet up at lunch. Kenma was hesitant to agree but Kuroo told him that today he was just going to have lunch with Kenma, just the two of them. Kenma felt a lot more relieved and agreed. So now the plan was set.

Kenma had really hoped he'd be able to get through the first half of the day without needing Kuroo as he didn't want to bug him so much with his daily panic attacks, but unfortunately, Kenma wasn't that lucky..

{Kenma's POV}
It all happened so fast, I couldn't even keep up.

The bell had just rung and I got up to leave, nothing out of the ordinary. But, I tripped, I tripped.. it was out of nowhere and so sudden, I barely even managed to catch myself before I would've hit the ground. As I looked back to see what I tripped over, I heard laughter start coming from all over, someone had stuck their foot out in the aisle and I watched as it retracted. This was normal but I couldn't handle it. Their laughter, their comments, it was all too much.

Here we go again..

I quickly got up and ran out of the classroom without looking back, I ran into the hall and didn't even watch where I was going. Another mistake as I bumped into someone and was sent flying to the ground, I couldn't handle it.
