{3rd POV}
Years it's been, years since that day, years since the two teens first celebrated their newfound love. To this day, the two are still together.Kuroo and Kenma got through high school because they stuck together, and eventually, they both got into the same Uni. They even got to share a dorm room and all, it was perfect, classes were a tad stressful, especially for Kenma, but at the end of the day, coming home to each other was enough to push them through the day.
Kenma and Kuroo both were still as madly in love as they had been many years ago, and today, today was the day Kuroo was going to prove that, was going to prove that as long as they were in love, they were indestructible..
{Kenma's POV}
I pushed open the door to Kuroo and I's dorm with a yawn, I seen him sitting in the living room, looking rather relaxed but.. dressed up."Kitty, you're home." I could tell he was smiling, I smiled too, he's been calling me that nickname since high school and it never gets old.
I walked over to the back of the couch, leaning over and giving Kuroo a hug as I buried my face in the crook of his neck.
"I missed you.." I whined a little and playfully, earning a soft chuckle from my love.
"I missed you too hun, and I know you're tired buuuut, I need you to get dressed." Kuroo gestured to what he was wearing, a nice black and red suit that wasn't too fancy but made him shine.
I cocked a brow and let Kuroo go, looking at him with a small tad of suspicion. That was before chuckling softly.
"Okay okay, but what're you up to this time?"
Kuroo shook his head. "Ah ah Kitty, can't tell you that. It's a surprise."
"Mmm.." I whined a little before rolling my eyes playfully. "Fine, Fine. Give me a few minutes." And with that, I walked off to our room, closing the door behind me..

After Kenma had gotten changed, Kuroo dragged him out and to the car. Which made the two laugh.Through the drive, Kuroo and Kenma sat in a comfortable silence. Well.. after Kenma got shot down a good million times while asking where they were going, he wasn't the biggest fan of surprises but when it came to Kuroo, they were always worth it. And Kuroo of course, didn't tell him, didn't even give him a hint. So Kenma assumed it was a surprise date night, Kuroo did them every once in a while and Kenma wouldn't have entirely been wrong, but this date night had a twist, a sweet sweet twist.
As Kuroo and Kenma got seated, Kenma couldn't help but get a tad bit distracted by the view. Kuroo really went all out for him that night, the restaurant itself was beautiful but the view they had gotten by being seated at a small table on a balcony was enchanting. As below it was the seaside, pristine blue water, sparkling in the moonlight. Kenma was in awe, which caused Kuroo to chuckle and take a mental image of his angel.
Soon however, Kenma had been cut out of his trance when the waiter had come to take their order. After the waiter left, the two were left alone to talk. They went on about their usual, talking about how boring class was, joking around about how it was the worst thing out there. That night, both men didn't have a care in the world, feeling as though they were still the same carefree teenagers they used to be. On the inside though, at heart, they still were, young and in love.
Once the two had gotten their meals, they thanked the waiter and ate. Kenma was beyond happy as he felt like he hadn't eaten all day, Kuroo had found it funny and they had a good laugh over it, especially when Kenma figured out Kuroo felt the same way. Their classes drained them quite a lot but seeing each other at the end of the day filled that mental battery up 100%.
It was wonderful, come to think of it, everything in that moment was wonderful, and it was only going to get better.
This.
Was.It.
{Kenma's POV}
As I finished my food, I looked up to see Kuroo smiling softly at me, he then stood up and walked towards the balconies railing. I gave a curious look as he looked back at me."Kitty, come here for a second." His voice was soft and smooth.
I nodded and stood up, silently pushing my chair back as I walked over. I looked over the balcony in awe at the ocean, it was such a beautiful sight, especially with the way the moonlight hit the water, causing a pearly shine. It was the second most beautiful thing I've ever seen, nothing can beat those hazel eyes, speaking of which..
I looked over to Kuroo, who was staring right at me, admiration in his eyes. I felt a pink tint come on as I smiled softly.
"Love? You wanted me over here..?"
He seemed to snap out of a trance, smiling as he nodded. "Right."
Then.. then the most magical thing in the world happened right in that moment.
"You know, ever since the first day I met you, I knew I'd be asking you this, because Kozume Kenma.." I watched as Kuroo started to get down on one knee, reaching into his pocket.
My eyes went wide, is this really happening?!
"You're the only person for me, and so I only find it right that I ask you to spend the rest of your life with me." Kuroo took a breath as I was overcome with shock, tears swelling in the corners of my eyes.
"Kozume Kenma, will you marry me?"
The sight before me was miraculous, Kuroo was on one knee, smiling ever so lovingly with a soft red box, inside was a small, yet elegant silver ring with two gems intertwined as a heart. Hazel and Gold.
I felt the tears fall as I nodded.
"Y-Yes..! Yes, yes, a million times, yes!" I nodded, feeling my hearts pace quicken as Kuroo smiled even more.The second after he placed the ring on my finger, I dropped down to my knees, on his level, and pulled him into a kiss. Our lips still fell together like puzzle pieces as we were entrapped in a passionate, loving kiss.
When Kuroo pulled back, he put our foreheads together. I stared into those hazel eyes and he stared into mine.
"Tetsurou-"
"Kozume-"
We both paused, smiling softly. Then speaking in unison we said..
"I love you."
