"Wake up, sleepyhead," I said, throwing back the covers.
Percy didn't move. He was laying on his back, eyes closed. Moonlight from the barred window above cast light on his face.
"I said wake up," I commanded.
He did nothing. A trickle of drool dribbled from the corner of his half-open mouth.
My eyes left his face and traveled down to his torso. Damn, he's fit.
I sighed through my nose and forced myself to look at his face. If he didn't wake up soon, we'd be late to the group. They might even leave without us.
I grabbed him from one side and flipped him over, grunting from the effort. "Dammit, Jackson, wake the hell up!"
He groaned slightly. I looked at his back. Muscles; delicious. Then I shook my head. What the hell is wrong with me?
His back had a trident tattoo on his left side, about the size of my hand. It was cool, to say the least.
Also very sexy.
I told my subconscious to shut up.
Tonight we were going on our annual street run. I decided if Percy didn't wake up in the next ten seconds, I'd leave without him.
Ten. I kind of hoped he wouldn't wake up.
Nine.
Eight. He shifted slightly.
Seven.
Six.
Five.
Four. He moaned.
Three.
Two --
"Whazzgoinon?" he muttered, his eyes opened slightly.
I slapped a hand over his mouth.
"You want to come with or not?" I whispered in his ear.
He pushed my hand away. "Fine."
He sat up. His hot -- stop it, Annabeth -- muscles contracted as he did so.
I took a deep breath and forced myself to look at his face. His hair was messed up in a really cute way -- what the hell? -- and his eyes were still groggy.
He was smirking, as though he knew what I was thinking.
So I did the only thing I could do.
"You drool in your sleep," I blurted, then ran out of his cell.
Phew. That was close.

I found Thalia, Piper, Hazel, and Jason standing in my cell.
"You had to bring Jason?" I whined to Piper.
Jason looked hurt.
"Yes, I did," Piper said, crossing her arms.
"You brought Percy," Thalia pointed out.
I sighed. "Percy's status is not equivalent to Jason's!"
"What's that supposed to mean?" Percy asked, appearing out of nowhere.
"It means that Piper likes Jason, whereas I do not like you!" I said to him, stomping my foot. He blinked.
Piper's face was red. Jason awkwardly scratched the back of his neck.
Thalia raised her eyebrows. "Okay..." She obviously didn't believe me.
"Dammit, Thalia, don't make me use my knife," I warned.
