2 weeks later

Even though Yoongi was still sick to his stomach and in pain, he wanted to toughen it up for Taehyung. Still no word on him, only thing was he was still breathing softly, the monitor never changed, so they just had to wait.

The older's shoulder was wrapped up as his neck had a patch on it, but that still didn't faze the fact that his eyes would slowly fall down, which concerned a lot of them. He started falling asleep more than he usually would. Sure he loved his sleep, but he was also a busy man. Then again, he didn't sleep for days when Taehyung went missing, so the others just thought he was catching up on his sleep.

Jae was currently sitting next to her sleeping brother as his chest rised up and the slowly down, his pale skin shining from the sunlight shining through the white curtains in the hospital room. His monitor showing his heartbeat as he had a breathing tube in his nose to help him gain his breath since he started having trouble breathing ever since he got shot.

The doctors said he might need another surgery to fix his neck and make sure nothing got scratched by a broken bone or something got hit by the bullet, even though they should've seen it the day he got shot in the first place.

"He's going to be fine Jae." Bae's soft voice said as she entered the room with a sweet tea from McDonalds, giving it to her while she pulls up a chair to sit next to her in.

"But his breathing looks like it's getting worse, watch his chest." Jae says, both of them watching as his chest inhales air before very slowly going down, not the usual peaceful speed it's suppose to be.

"Have the doctors said anything about it?"

"Just some x-rays, maybe another surgery if they find anything wrong that could mess up his lungs or vocal cords." The younger explained, a tear falling down her face while she looks at the drink in her hand.

"How's Tae?"

"They said he's getting better, his monitor is starting to meet the standards of what they want it to be and he should be waking up soon. They also told Hoseok that his bruises should be healed by next week."

"It's fucking bruises for crying out loud, they don't just go away, they stay with you forever. Don't they know that this big family will be traumatized because of all that's happened? Especially Taehyung? He fucking got abused and kidnapped for pete's sake. My brother got shot twice and now his breathing has gotten worse!" She cried, laying her head on her besties shoulder before they shared cries.

Walking down the hall alone, she looked around to see if anyone could help her find someone, but sadly, they were all busy.

"Excuse me ma'am, may I help you? You seem lost." The front desk asks, watching as the girl looked at her and smiled softly.

"Yes, I'm looking for Kim Taehyung, I'm one of his best friends." She said softly, watching as the lady nodded before she typed a few things on her computer.

"He's in the ICU, room 546. The otherss do know you, correct?" Nodding, she looked in her pictures and showed her a picture of all them together when she was off for break. The lady at the desk smiled before nodding.

"Ok then, have a nice day."

"You too." She said before she walked over to the elevator.

Once she walked down the hall of the ICU, she frowned when she saw all the people in their rooms, either on a heart monitor with something on their chest, their body all wrapped up from a fall or fire, or someone with a breathing tube in their mouth.

Making her way halfway down the hall to finally see the boy's room number, making her smile. Since it was 3:40, she saw no one inside, probably to get something to eat or go visit and do something else.

Walking in, she frowned even more when she saw the hurt blue haired male on a breathing machine with a tube down his throat. She walked over to his bed before she placed her small backpack on a wooden table and went over to him before placing her hand on his soft blue hair, probably being brushed by one of the others.

"I hope you wake up soon Taehyungie, we can't wait to finally see those pretty orbs of yours open up and hear your cute voice flow through the room." She whispered, holding one of his hands with her other hand.

"I'm glad I finally get to see you in person instead of on the phone or computer. It wasn't the best, but hey, we still got to talk." Chuckling to herself, she smiled softly, trying not to cry, as she sat down on the chair right behind her, still holding onto his hand while she looked at his poor once pure skin.

Some of it was clearing up, which made her smile, but a clear frown was still on her face as she saw how his neck was littered in whip marks.

"I'm glad they got you out of there Tae, you didn't need that treatment."

-
It was 6:30 as the sun started to set, yet the sweet girl was still there, holding his hand as she looked at her and would glance at him to make sure he didn't wait up and feel alone.

Placing her phone down after texting one of her friends she suddenly heard a big gasp, followed by eyes opening up wide, making her get up from the chair and hold his hand tighter while he looked like he was having a panic attack.

"Shhh shhh, relax Tae, I'm right here. Everything is going to be alright." She whispered, helping him by taking off the breathing tube since sh had permission to if he woke up.

"It's ok, calm down." Her soft voice calmed the boy down while she slowly got on the side of the bed and held him like a baby, letting him calm his breathing down while he nuzzled into her neck.

"T-thank you Ivy."
